Hello, I just received a freshly bought copy of the German Summicron M 35 v4. During the first check I discovered a weird shiny circular spots placed as I assume on the black metal rim behind the front element. The "dots" doesn't change location, so for sure its not a reflection in the glass. My first thought was the Schneideritis, because those points looks like scratches. This is something unfamiliar for me, and maybe someone has any idea what could it be or what could caused it. Also if is possible to affect lens IQ? Regards Martin

I have a 50mm summicron V5 I think (built in hood) and when I have it on infinity the patch lines up and the image looks focussed, just had some films back and the images are not sharp on infinity, I was focusing on a building, who can I send the lens to in the uk that could calibrate it properly and roughly what cost would I be looking at? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Dan

Hallo Ich habe ein günstiges Angebot gesehen für ein Summicron-M 90mm von 1989. Ich benutze die M3 und die M9. Wie verhält sich diese Version im Vergleich zu anderen 90mm Cron? Sind die neuen besser? Wichtig sind mir Schärfe bei Offenblende und Bokeh (runde Ringe). Danke, David
