  2. This is my take on the often photographed Bass Head Lighthouse. It was taken with my M240 and 21mm SEM. The Acadia National Park area of Maine is a wonderful place for seascape photography. Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse by Jeffrey Michael Parsons, on Flickr
  3. This beach belonged to a lighthouse where we stayed overnight. So it was a priviledged private place. I took my breakfast there on that lovely morning. I left my heavy bulk in the room and had only my X1. I am still very happy with the results of this little camera. panorama being stitched from 4 vertical pictures

  7. Last light at Kimmeridge Bay, in Dorset. I truly love exploring and photographing the ledges at Kimmeridge for detail work, they are so inspiring and I find them always rewarding, with almost any light. I took this photograph during a Workshop One-on-One in Dorset I led in October 2017. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  8. It takes wading in the ocean, water chest high, to get to the Arch at Playa de Campiecho with high enough tide for the cave to be filled with water, and then some more wading into the cave to get the photograph: but the feeling and the view from in there are simply amazing! Taken at sunset during the Workshop I led in Asturias last year with Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  9. Sunrise at Playa de Pendueles, taken right after my Workshop in Asturias (Spain) last October while exploring for new locations. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm @ 24mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  10. Today, something from Iceland: The Arch at Gatklettur, here portrayed at sunrise during one of the Workshops I led in Iceland last December is one of the lesser known - but not less amazing - beautiful landscapes of Iceland. With the Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  11. After almost two months on the road, I am finally back home and ready to post again! Taken during the Workshop I led in Asturias last fall, this is beautiful Playa de Mexota at Sunset. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  12. A beautiful sunset at Playa de Mexota, taken during a Workshop I led in Asturias (Spain) last fall. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm v. III and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri

  15. Amazing Playa de Aguilar at sunrise, taken while exploring new locations right after my Workshop in Asturias and the Atlantic (Spain) last September. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  16. Reynisfjara's iconic sea stacks at Sunrise, taken in Iceland during a Workshop I led there in February. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  17. Being away from home for 1.5 months now, leading Workshops non-stop since September! Today we were talking with the guys about Iceland's cold vs Scotland's cold, and this image came to mind. Jokulsarlon at sunset, taken in December 2017 with Leica SL, Leica Super-Elmar-M 21mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  18. Having photographed it from sea level quite a few times, on a stormy weather day I decided to go for a different point of view. This is Durdle Door from above, taken during one of my Workshops in Dorset last spring. Leica S, Leica Summarit-S 35mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  19. Storm at sunset at amazing Playa Barrika in the Basque Country, taken during the Workshop I led las September in Asturias and the Atlantic Coast of Spain. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  20. "El Picon", the Pickaxe, is one of Asturias most recognisable features. Photograph taken at sunrise during the Workshop I led in Spain last fall. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Can't wait to be back there! Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  21. One of Dorset's most spectacular bays is Seacombe Bay, here portrayed at sunset. It takes a very pleasant 30 min downhill walk to get there, and the place is so amazing that it makes the walk back, all uphill, a breeze! Leica S (Typ 007), Leica Summarit-S 35mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  22. The amazing Durdle Door at sunset, taken during a Workshop I led in Dorset (UK) last February. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  23. Sunrise above Stair Hole and Lulworth Cove, in Dorset (UK). It takes a short climb in boggy grounds to get above Stair Hole, but witnessing the sun rising and the landscape revealing itself from the darkness from up there is pure magic. Seeing the smile and the excitement on my Workshop's participants' faces when the sun appeared made the climb 100% worth! Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  24. The Crumbling Cliffs at Valahnukamol in Iceland are a wonderful source of inspiration, and I love to explore them to find cracks with shapes complementing or mirroring the sea stacks and the clouds. Taken at sunset during a Workshop One-on-One in Iceland in February 2018 with my Leica SL, a Voigtlander 15mm and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
