  3. A just had the great pleasure of spending some days in The City; Roma. This time a had plenty of time for photography, so I really got to test my (allmost) new M. The camera performed flawless, and I could not be more happy with handling and performance. On pos-p t I noticed the color saturation is really high, and I had to reduce in Lightrroom, but even then the colors seems quite "romantic". Others having the same experience, or just me not used to the "brick" colors? Please see some photos. I would not call them "street", since I asked to photograph for many, and left my contact details: 201310_Street_Fashion_Roma - a set on Flickr And a self-portrait featuring the "Banana Jones" look : 201310_Roma_stree_3_6 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Btw: I know its a long stretch, but I you recognize some in photos I would welcome a mail (although I have a few). Sorry if this post is to far OT? Edit: The photos were edited and uploaded quickly on the fly on a small ultrabook, so the post-processing might be so-and-so. Dont blame the M, blame me.
  4. From the album: Andrea Gherardo Ligi

I owe to Leica the opportunity of this image. In fact, a couple of days ago, the Leica Store of Rome, Via dei Due Macelli, gave me a Leica S with a 30-90 lens, for me to have fun for an hour. It was about sunset. So, I climbed up the Spanish Steps, and also the stairs of the Church of "Trinità dei Monti". And then, I waited ... As I was pointing at the shadow of the balustrade of the stairs and of myself taking the photo, a couple climbing the stairs of the Church entered my viewfinder. It was easy, then, to seize the moment.
