The arriving of the bride at the church is probably one of the most anticipated moments for a bridegroom in his wedding day. Now let me dedicate this shot to those forum members who already lived such a moment but also to those of you who have not but are considering the plunge;-) Leica Q.

I added a freshly purchased B&W 49m 007 Clear MRC Nano filter to my Q for my recent trip and used it constantly in the sometimes dirty environment. Now I'm seeing unwanted reflections of objects in images taken at night in artificial light. I wouldn't have believed this was going to happen. My apologies to another forum member who had previously suggested that such a filter was the cause. Seems he was right, but why hasn't this happened to me previously with my Leica M9 on both Lux and Chron lenses. look at the area beneath the piano. The pictures being reflected are from a completely different zone in the scene and cannot feasibly be natural reflections on the shiny floor. Other lines on the floor are also suspect so it seems to be an optical anomaly caused by my lens and filter combination. Ideas?

I'm using a Nex-7 and M5 together with 35/1.4FLE and WATE. When using theNex and the WATE I'm using no filters and having no problems but with the Summilux I'm using a Leica UV-filter and getting some blue rings coming from reflections between the filter and front lens. Especially when shooting in dark scenes and there are light sources outside of the actual coverage of the lens. Is the original square lens hood sufficient? Any alternatives? Have anyone seen the same problem with any Leica Digital M's? Without the filters I need to point the camera into the light source to get a very very vague symptom of the problem. Thanks in advance Harry

On the second weekend in december this big open air museum is open on the occasion of advent. The main paths are being nicely illuminated with torches. The illumination of houses, trees and windmills is marvellous. I always try to reach their in time for the blue hour and then when dusk is there the sky provides a velvet veil. We were lucky it did not rain. I hoped for a clear night with the intention of capturing startrails. But this would have been too demanding. So we enjoyed a couple of hours with only very few stars.... This was the first serious shooting with the "Q"

Case in point. The first shot was my test shot to fix exposure and focus for the second shot of a pair of lovely twins enjoying Sushi in downtown Manhattan. Had no idea or care what I was doing in the first test shot. BUT I ACTUALLY LIKE IT BETTER. Nothing earth shattering, of course. But the layers of people remind me of a random stream of consciousness. The second shot is ok, but I ruin it. MM/50mm lux asph
