1. This is a 3-picture panorama of Horseshoe Falls from my hotel window. It is so difficult to convey the sheer majesty and raw power of this extraordinary place. The fully-grown trees to the right of the falls offer some sense of scale. Pete. M8 with 28/2.8 Elmarit-M asph v1
2. Has anyone tried this film ? someone i met said its great for astro shots https://www.ultrafineonline.com/ulxtblwhfiis3.html

4. …on the A316. M7, CV 15mm, Velvia
5. The village square, St.-Julien, Bordeaux, at dusk. M240 with 50mm APO-Summicron at about f/2.8.
6. Two days ago we had a nice summer day and so was its evening. The vantage point was deep in the forest opposite the sight. We found a fine bench and picnic facilites even. So we enjoyd a few hours from golden light until dusk. Porta-Westfalica, view on the monument of Kaiser-Wilhelm and the river Weser. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm
7. Visiting Prague means a great variety of cultural input. You can spend every night there in jazzclub, blues bar, etc. Usually you get to hear high quality stuff. We were lucky and enjoyed a night listening to a piano trio. The acoustics down in that cellar from a building of the middle ages were breathtaking. Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron the pianist
8. Can you do long exposures on the Leica T? Lets say if i wanted to take extended night exposures to get stars to trail and such.
9. It is the third year in which the monument of "Hermann the Cherusker" is being illuminated by a lasershow. The festival lasts for 10 days and each evening the 15 minuted show is being repeated, each time a bit different. The whole forest is being illuminated, filled by music. The moon was a great gift on that evening. The Leica Q served as my backup camera, while I documentethe show with my Canon 5D MK3. At least it is amazing what can be churned out of the Q. The only paramter was the ISO so I put it on Auto and it went quite hight because darkness was deep and the laser bright. I need 4.5 and speed was limited when handheld.
10. Breslau, (Wroclaw) - Poland After dinner we went out again into the rain, armed with plastic covers, tripods and prepared to face cold and wet and windy atrocities. This Bridge is famous and with its strange blue colour makes a good effect at any time
11. Night train at Waterloo station DLux 4
12. Gütersloh is a small city in our neighbourhood but an attractive place for a few big companies. This is the new building which is during daytime looking like a shopping mall but at night when being illuminated it is showing its purpose: it is the home of a new theatre and concert hall. The X1 one with 800 ISO was handheld and open lens and 1/30 sec. It is a snapshot just before rushing in for a concert.
13. Here is some comparison I made between Leica M 240 and M9 for a night photo made at ISO 200, 1250 and 3200-2500. Enjoy ! Leica M (type240) vs Leica M9 – Night Landscape Photos Comparison
14. The Open-Air Museum in Detmold, Germany, Northrhine Westphalia, is the biggest of its kind in Europe. Old farmhouses from the region were shifted to this place and their historic value can be admired along with tools of agriculture and arts of craftsmanship. Walking in a beautiful landscape with a look into history makes this place a great attraction. In winterseason it is closed but opened on the 2nd advent for this occasion ans everything is being illuminated. The first picture is showing the central village with a pond, the second one is showing the same village from a distant view. All pictures taken with Canon 5D MKII and the Elmarit R 35 mm. Thanks for viewing
15. falling snow inspired me for a stroll to the city. The MKII wrapped in plastic foil and the Elmarit 35mm was mounted for the walk. The picture is showing the view to the landmark of Bielefeld, an old fort of the middle ages in the background. The sculpture in front of Henry Moore belongs to the park of the Art-Museum. Since it was very dark I used an LED lenser for additional light. Thanks for having a look.
16. there is a fort in our neighbourhood. It is the landmark of our city and from our house a short walk. I go there very often just for a check and evening afterwork stroll. the red cloth was wrapped on the occasion of an action of out local decoration specialists as a weekend attraction. due to compression I am afraid the last one may not show its full potential. Probably I have to check the method of downscaling. There are some deficiencies itne sky and the texture of the stones which are not being seen in my Tiff files. Perhaps somebody has an advice for downscaling properly. Canon MKII with Elmarit R lenses 35 mm and 60 mm Macro
17. Milky Way over a bridge near my hometown. (Leica X2 at f/2.8, ISO 1600, 15 seconds).
18. as a starter I send this classic view from the Harbourfront of Hong Kong. A special hightlight this year is the lightshow "Symphony of lights" at 8 p.m. every day when the skyscraper do communicate with each other via lasertechnique. Leica Q, panorama stichted from 4 pictures.
19. Hong Kong, october 2015 during a typhoon of category 3 Unstoppable rain but the glamour on the street aound our hotel seemed promising. Leica Q
20. We had three days in Berlin. After daylight was gone we admired all the glitzy Christmas illumination. The Leica Q was my only camera and it was pure pleasure to see its performance in lowlight situations. View on the Cathedral, seen from he nice embankment of the river Spree and the street decoration.
21. Hong Kong, october 2016 Exchange Square during the heavy rain of a typhoon of category 3. The streets were deserted then because everybody wanted to be under shelter. These situations offer a great chance of light and reflections. The camera behaved absolutely reliable. The sculpture is from Henry Moore. Even my city has one copy and so I felt at home.... Leica Q
