Last weekend the fall colours were at its peak,. Temperatures were extremely mild being up to 20!° Celsius. No rain had fallen, so there was a dream of goldrush because the foliage was almost complete. I was at the location at 7:30. It was just in time for getting the glow on the pond. Yet it remained half shaded because the rocks were locking the sun. The sky was deep blue and a pale morning moon was still there. All with Olympus and Nocticron 43 mm/ 1.2

Here are a few images I captured in a harbour in Kephalonia. The loggerheads turtles feed off the scraps thrown by fishermen and one of the only permanent colonies of the migratory sea turtles. All of these are taken with my m9 and 50mm Summarit. Not underwater though some look like it! These are very tranquil mild october days here. The sun, if it comes out is already very low. It then spreads a warm golden light. Wen I go to work I cross a little park and took my X1 to get the last glowing colors before they will be torn be one of those storms later on. X1 in the morning in a slightly humid air

Here are now somes samples of golden autumn colors. The trees have only started now turning into yellow. I wonder whether there will be really strong colors his year. I think one has to wait a bit more. Still, deep in the forest there is much green. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm

here are juxtapositions. I was fascinated by the silky texture of the petals and the charming blossoms. All with Olympus OMD EM 5 + Nocticron

I guess first time in my life I saw rainbow appear and disappear while I stood still shooting and enjoying the experience. I tried to create a two minute video from my stills. Better than stills, it gives you the idea of sunshine moving across the hill and rainbow appearing. Clouds, sunshine and rain was moving away from us. Enjoy. https://www.facebook.com/photoutdoors/videos/532740986898602/ Later in the evening I will upload a still from this. I used M240+28Cron ASPH and adjusted the WB, exposure and local processing in LR5.

Happy Earth Day! I just posted a short series on soil erosion and root systems in NJ. A number of them were scans taken with my trusty M6. I've worked on this project for over a year now. This combination of camera and lens and specific lighting conditions were the only combo that was giving me exactly the rendition I wanted. It's amazing how awesome the M8 is. I love that camera! I have a few on my blog, and will be putting up some more and some behind the scenes kinda stuff shortly. I also have an ebook available that features these images and more. It was designed for digital reading. You can see it here if you are interested. http://soundvisionpassion.com/2012/0...now-available/

walking through a forest growing on sandy soil we found a manifold variety of photographic attractions. My mushroom collection I'll show later. On a meadow with grass and heath there were hundreds of cobwebs shining in the late morning light. We could have spent hours to crouch, lying in the mud, trying to get a clou how to frame this fluffy stuff. I am afraid this series lost a lot of details due to compression to forum size. But you may yet have a look at this attempt. all with Canon 5D MKII, Elmarit R 60 mm + Leica Apo 2x converter, tripod.
