3. The Open-Air Museum in Detmold, Germany, Northrhine Westphalia, is the biggest of its kind in Europe. Old farmhouses from the region were shifted to this place and their historic value can be admired along with tools of agriculture and arts of craftsmanship. Walking in a beautiful landscape with a look into history makes this place a great attraction. In winterseason it is closed but opened on the 2nd advent for this occasion ans everything is being illuminated. The first picture is showing the central village with a pond, the second one is showing the same village from a distant view. All pictures taken with Canon 5D MKII and the Elmarit R 35 mm. Thanks for viewing

6. I fulfilled lifelong dream to visit Ferrari Museum in Maranello. These pictures were taken 29 August 2009 with Leica IIIg, 35 Cron Asph, handheld, Fuji Pro 160-S color negative film, drugstore develop and scan to CD, resized, smart sharpened slightly in PS4 to upload here, no other modification. I remember inside available light spotmetering at 1/30 and 1/15 at f/2.8 and f/4.0, trying for as much depth of field without shaking as I could. Thanks for sharing this with me! 8. Apologize to post this late, I was member since 2012 and till recently found my password and login 😅 I wanted to share one of my photograph that won 2nd place the National geographic Travel of he Year 2017 in people category. I shot using Leica ME with 50mm Lux, at Rijks Museum in Amsterdam way back in 2015. I shot twice and the first one obviousely out of focus due to the manual setting, etc.. but the second shot was perfect. I love the visitors expression and lighting that really help this image stand out. I named this shot "Interesting Moment" 😃 Love my ME and the 50mm Lux combination, I never change lens since.

11. On the second weekend in december this big open air museum is open on the occasion of advent. The main paths are being nicely illuminated with torches. The illumination of houses, trees and windmills is marvellous. I always try to reach their in time for the blue hour and then when dusk is there the sky provides a velvet veil. We were lucky it did not rain. I hoped for a clear night with the intention of capturing startrails. But this would have been too demanding. So we enjoyed a couple of hours with only very few stars.... This was the first serious shooting with the "Q"
12. Our neighbour city of Detmold has many attractions to offer. Among them is one of Europe's largest open air museums with old farm houses of the region. Beign situated at the hills of the Teutoburger Forest with its smooth hills it is an idyllic place. In the winter season they open on the second december weekend to surprise people by its illumination and a market with upper level products of handcraft. I was able to catch a few pictures of twilight. These are all with Canon 5D MKII and R lenses Summicron 50 mm and Elmarit 90 mm These are all longtimes exposures with f-stops of 8 or 11 and 10 secs - 20 Secs speed Summicron R 50 mm Elmarit R 90 mm Elmarit R 90 mm Elmarit R 90 mm Elmarit R 90 mm
