Wen I go to work I cross a little park and took my X1 to get the last glowing colors before they will be torn be one of those storms later on. X1 in the morning in a slightly humid air

Our local Botanical Garden is rich in its variety of species and very attractve during the whole year. I go there very often because its near and a welcome source of inspiration and recreation. Since we are 4 weeks early this year every day is bringing new surprises. There is one corner where a few Japanese Maple trees are unfolding their beauty. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 180 mm

I had only a monopod and tried to focus with magnifying function with live-view. It was a bit tricky since it was windy but a few are sharp enough. (Due to compression it looks a bit weak though)

sometimes I take my X1 to my office and then in my breaktime look for chances. This was in a small park close by. and there is always space in the bag for the achromats.
