Dear. L-Camera-Forum I recently entered the X Vario City Challenge - Los Angeles. We had only four hours with the camera, anywhere in LA. I imediatly got on my bike and did a 25 mile trip around the city, stopping everywhere to shoot in the streets. We could only enter one photo. There are only 24 other entrants and to get into the final judging round, we need Facebook "Likes'. If you have Facebook and want to help me out, please click: LINK And then "Like" my photo. "Leather Man" If you don't want to "like" it, thanks for looking! Cheers, Mike

Little more than a month ago, during my visit to LA, I went to the Leica Store Los Angeles to see the store many photographers talk about, also to discover the Leica X Vario. when I got there, I immediately understood why that store was so loved by those who have visited it. it's an extraordinary visual and emotional experience. I also understood why Leica has called the X Vario a Mini M, simply because it felt like one. I loved that tank feeling of it in my hands... but wait, that was not everything. Mr. Tom Smith from Leica US Akademie came to me to ask if I could join him in his coming Leica X Vario Discovery event planned to take place next day! I came back, and had a blast using and shooting with a Leica for the first time in my life. i did it all in B&W, all manual and i was amazed buy the result! here it is... Hope you'll enjoy it. PS: That's the day during which I became a happy Leica Owner Here's a link to the album. Hope you'll like it. Leica Store Los Angeles - a set on Flickr

In New York I like the RCA Building because of its details. LA was new to me but downtown has its surprises. Both with M6 TTL.

I have been thinking about trying to sell my XXXXXXXX here on Leica User Forum, but I'm wondering how it works for those that try... There is a small cost involved which in itself is not very encouraging, but if it works, then fine... But my main concern is – I am located in Los Angeles...if I get a potential buyer that is also from here, no problem. But what if I get somebody from, say, France or Canada...? How can such a transaction possibly work out without getting into too much trouble to bother with...? One cannot buy an item like that sight unseen, in my opinion, so how do sellers and buyers deal with this...? Thanks for any advise... gunnar (...yes, we have the Craig's List alternative and it works well often...)
