I took this portrait of English jazz pianist Julian Joseph in 2016 using my M9 and Zeiss 50mm f1.5 lens @ 1250iso. Shutter was 1/125 and aperture f5.7. It was shot as .dng for use by the theatre, and I have only just converted it to mono using LRCC. Lighting was stage lighting (i.e. no flash). Hope you like it! Gerry

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I've been looking for a low-profile flash for street photography (daytime) that I can toy around with I was considering a Contax TLA-200 when I remembered I have an old Olympus T20 from when I had my first OM-G 35mm camera. I was getting ready to give it a try when I was suddenly stricken with the fear that I was about to do something horrible to my Leica M240. I scoured the web and was unable to find any information on compatibility between the Leica M240 and the Olympus T20 (or the Contax for that matter). Might anyone know if my old T20 will cause damage? I like the aesthetic (strangely) but this means nothing if it doesn't function...

Hi all, I am saving up for my first digital camera ever --you all know which one--, having worked with an MP and R2A over the last few years. I sometimes miss TTL flash capabilities, and was expecting these to be included in the M9. So, what's up with this M-TTL system? It sends out a pre-flash, but how and when, and can you take the picture in one go (i.e. no delay between pre- and main flash when pushing the shutter). I am not at all an experienced flash user, please forgive me if I am asking a silly question. Thanks for enlightening me.

Anyone has been using an M8 in studio environment? I mean, M8 with Pocket Wizards and monolights? I would assume it should not be any different than any dSLR, but I am curious those out there who have been using it, what is your configuration? I have been working with dSLRs in studio, but want to know if there is any difference you have experienced. Thanks Miklos
