I noticed capture one has released it’s ipad version with some caveats, no tethering at the moment and can be bought only through subscription of 4.99 usd? I might be wrong … i have noticed some of good images were edited through Capture One which seems to be more ready with its profile colour for M11 compared to LR, very subjective anybody already use this app for ipad? I’m curious as my workflows for digital M is very ipad dependent, right now im using LR CC

With my Leica M9 I just whip out the SD card, put it into the slot, select the picture file and upload it to the desktop. Couldn’t be simpler. But trying to do the same with the iPhone is problematic. I hooked up a USB cable, and the iMac didn’t recognize it. I had to hunt around and then could only open pictures in Photos. I just want the photos on the desktop. Yes, I can also use airdrop but you have to do them picture by picture, which is slow. I seldom do this, but want to help a friend load her iPhone pictures (several thousand from a European trip!) onto her laptop (possibly a Widows machine). So what’s the best way to do it? -
I had connectivity problems with my Leica T and the iPhone app. Leica TL. I now have the TL2 and it still won't connect to my camera. I discarded the TL app. and re-installed. Its still won't pair. My little DXO One pairs just fine with the DXO One app. on the same iPhone. Why can't Leica do it right? The iPhone pairing is not something I will do frequently, but it would be nice if it were available when I do want to use it. Is anyone else having this problem, and if so, has anyone solved it? If so, please help.

Hey all! While anxiously waiting for this camera to become available, I was wonder if you can connect the TL2 directly to an iPhone or iPad using a Lightning to USB-C cable to import photos. Not sure is there is some kind of active component in the camera adapter that Apple sells, or if you'll be to import simply with this cable. Thanks in advanced! -

Seit 1980 fotografiere ich mit Leica (R3, R4mot electronik) und seit 1985 mit meiner M-Ausrüstung (M6, M9P 21, 28, 35, 50, 90). Jetzt ist es soweit, dass ich die M kaum noch nutze bzw. mitnehme, da das "iPhone 7 plus" alles das kann was ich brauche. Das schleppem hat jetzt ein ENDE! Sorry ich glaube, dass das die Zukunft ist!

I'm new to the Q. My experiences so far have been positive, but I'm confounded by the wifi image transfer behavior. It seems that there are two modes: Remote Control Backup Great, this makes sense and mirrors what I expect: one mode is tethered control over a remote camera, the other lets you just download photos from it. Every similar thing I've seen allows selection of photos from the existing roll in "Backup" or equivalent mode, for example using the app to pick and choose which already-shot photos to transfer to the phone. The Leica app, meanwhile, only seems capable of transferring shots taken while the camera is actively connected to the app in backup mode. Is this true? This is a bizarre limitation, and doesn't fit what I assume to be the common model of shooting un-tethered, then periodically squirting a few shots over to the phone to tweak or share while on the go. Pointers to an obvious setting I'm missing—or confirmation that I'm not crazy—welcome. Thanks!

Anbei die Bilder eines neuen Aufrüstsatzes für das iPhone. Damit steigt das iPhone in die Liga der Digitalkameras mit wechselbaren Festbrennweiten auf - wie die M8. Sogar mit Belederung ! Wann gibt es Objektive für das iPhone von Leica ? Oder gar ein "a la carte" iPhone vom Leica CS ? VG E
