One of the Seven Sisters as the North-Eastern states of India are collectively called, Arunachal Pradesh is the northeastern-most state in India. It's predominantly tribal population is of Tibetan and Burmese (now Myanmar) origin. The mountainous state shares borders with Bhutan, Myanmar and China. Leica DC Vario-Summilux f/1.7-2.8 Lens, 24-75mm (35mm Equivalent) on the LX100. On the road to Tawang, after a night stopover at Dirang, the road winds it's way up to Se La (La is Tibetan for pass) at 13,700 ft. Se La is just a bit further, just a chai break before driving on to Tawang. Se La, 13,700 ft. I don't know it yet, but the first night I'll spend at Tawang (a mere 10,000 ft) will be uncomfortable.

Take a mountainous state like Arunachal, add plenty of water, add a few motorable roads, but not too many, finally scatter a few villages here and there. That's a perfect situation for a suspension bridge of bamboo, twine and cable to tie communities together. In these intolerant times we need more bamboo bridges. Bamboo bridge, Yazali, Arunachal Pradesh. The ties that bind us. Plank bridge over the Tuipui D River in Mizoram.

I'm thinking of going to the Holi festival in Delhi (the coloured dust thrown everywhere one) this year and obviously want to take my M240. I can throw on a 15mm lens which means I can pretty much point and shoot but what is the best way to protect the whole thing. Is it freezer bags and tape are are there custom options? Many thanks in advance, Dave.

Kushinagar - India, Paranirvana Stupa, which commemorates the place where Buddha Shakyamuni died. Families come to cover the lying Buddha with robes. This was one of those circumstances where I felt compelled to lower the camera and just live in the moment. Leica CL + 18-56

A few shots from a quick one week trip to Kolkata for the 'Durga Puja' festival. It was damned hot but the M-P 240 35/f2 preformed flawlessly during 5/6 hours of continuous shooting in the sun everyday. I will definitely visit India again.

Hi All, I am planning to purchase a Q2 at Leica Store New Delhi, India. Has anyone in this forum purchased Q2 from there? If yes, can you provide some information on the below points. 1. What courier they use for shipping? 2. Do they provide discount, if negotiated? 3. What is the tenure of India and International warranty on Leica Q2 or any other products?
