Coming of spring is keeping us in suspense this year. But due to cold temperatures we have clear air and chsnging light provides interesting situations. Thus we went to a nice location from which one has a good view. It was saturday before Easter and if you look closely a few bonfires and namely their smoke can be seen. After this shot sun went don wuickly and the whole area was pestered with biting smoke. Canon 5D MKII with R Elmarit 28 mm - pano stitched out of 3 pictures

Yet another house I met the other day. They all tell different stories, although there are similarities: All houses in this region (north of Norway) was burned by retreating German forces during the second world war. whenever I have a new lens I have to go with it my usual walk to our local fort and see how it will see the familiar view. This time R Summicron 50 mm on my MKII. And it was the first attempt to capture the fading light situation. The series is showing my city this one was being handheld, because I thought day was done but then I had to be quick and not time to unpack the tripod again

A Merry Christmas to all! These shots are from the Open-Air Museum in Detmold, Germany, EastWestphalia - It is open during the winter season only for the occasion of the 2nd advent. Then the main village is being illuminated, people enjoy a highclass Christmas Market, drink hot alcolholics like "Glühwein".
