Hello all, I've been here in this forum for a while but mostly as a viewer. This is my first thread here and I'd like to introduce to you guys about Hanoi, the city where I'm living. I know that it's impossible to depict a city only by a single person. Anyway, I will try to post and give captions; hope that people could have some information about Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. If anybody of you has visited and want to share, feel free to post photos. Here we go, 1. This is a warehouse where people collect things to be recycled, includes steel, aluminum, brass... from those women. They go through streets to buy scrap from each household. Urlaubsbilder aus Vietnam zum Ende der Regenzeit (Oktober / November 2018); im Einzelnen Bilder von Hanoi, von der Küste entlang des Südchinesischen Meeres und aus Ho Chi Minh – Stadt (Saigon). Im Gegensatz zu mutmaßlich allen übrigen Forenten war dies für meine Familie und mich die erste Asienreise . . . . . und auch wenn es banal klingt und schlechter Stil ist: die Reise hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Die bizarre, unwirklich schöne Natur, der warme Wind an den Stränden, das feucht – schwüle, sinnliche Klima und der Rausch der Städte mit dem herrlichen Duft von Asphalt, Benzin, Essen und Leben haben einen starken Eindruck hinterlassen. Photographisch hingegen blieb ich, teils aus Scheu, teils aus verdammungswürdiger Lahmheit hinter einigen Möglichkeiten zurück, darüber hinaus wollte ich die Geduld meiner Gattin und die ohnehin bestehende offene Entrüstung meiner Tochter für das geliebte Hobby nicht allzu sehr auf die Probe stellen. Tipps und Tricks? Nun, eine oder zwei zusätzliche Speicherkarten und eine Kollektion aprilfrischer Microfasertücher (selb-vers-tändlich aus dem Leica Store) lösen alle Probleme. Cheers, Shlomo
