these days are incredibly serene and with their mild temperatures one can still remember summer. The scenery shows a small üprotected area with reed and ponds. The ponds once served a textile company for clearifying the water. These ponds are no longer neede and so this area became a protected environment. Small as it is it offers a lot to see and when the season is right, one can watch a lot of birds. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 90 mm, pano stitched out of 2 pictures

Last week we still had that nice warm November weather. A short moment of golden light was there and it was just time enough to run with the tripod from one angle to the other. Olympus OMD EM5 with Nocticron

these days are rih in color and vivid sky panoramas. Our landscape here is slightly hilly, scattered houses and buildings are often spoiling the view. So we always try to find places with calm and undisturbed vantage points. Contrast were high so I tried a series in b&w Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm, polarizer, ND graded filter X1 X1

I know it might be boring - but I was attracted by the charming red blossoms over again. Since weather is trying to be summer I was out in the fields hunting. Different locations, different light, therefore different WB. Most of them shot with Elmarit 90mm on Canon MKII Thanks for a glance sideways off the road. these are the first experiments with daylight and a flash being bounced against a handheld reflector. The heat of the early evening was blazing in the countryside and we had to suffer many attacks from bloodsucking insects. My Canon 5D MKII was mounted with my Elmarit R 180 mm, which was recently under service in Solm. and since then it is as good as new in its optical quality. I am working at a new setup consisting of a flashlight which is being bounced against a handheld reflector as supportive light of day light, specially some sort of frontlight. Come along, no insect will bite you. enjoy the walk
