On monday when coming home from my work the sky changed into a promising foreboding glow. I grabbed my stuff in haste, snatched a sturdy tripod, snatched my raincovers and when I sat in the car it started raining. As I reached my location it seemed as if the major downpour happened somewhere else. In front of my eyes there unfolded a spectacular light and cloud formstion. I could not run for a better vantage point because light changed very quickly. Canon 5 D MKII with R Elmarit 28 mm and Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron. The colors were as such, processed from RAW the files only underwent a small correction in contrast and came out of the camera in these incredible colors. I used a GND filter for the Elmarit which gave me about 3 f-stops freedom for exposure. EM 5, Nocticron, 4 pictures pano

I escaped into the Hampshire countryside yesterday for the first time since lockdown started, and found this beautiful scene in the South Downs National Park. Hope you like it! Leica M240 = 35mm Summarit-M f2.5. 1/250 @ f8 & 250 iso. Gerry

this is one of those pictures when a hazy sun showed up for an hour and then vanish to leave everything grey. I gave sky and land a different treatment of contrast in PSE to exploit what the sensor captured to its limits. I know it is a matter of taste but this image is just the impression I had when taking the picture. Have a look! Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 60 mm macro

A warm summer evening glowing over the local wheatfields is a romantic sight. The Canon 5D MKII mounted on a tripod I made 2 versions with one focussed on the sky the other one on the field. Both were merged in PSE by hand. Enfusage works also in the HDR function but the result is different. I hope, somebody will stay for a moment to enjoy. Thanks for looking. Elmarit R 35 mm

This was a small boulder in a wide area of a big bolderfield. Since I found it very hard climbing all the time I found this one a little bit further off in the woods. I hope you'll like it.
