hi all, im having a bit of trouble figuring out what i need and may use your help. i have the leitz Elpro 1-4 (made for r lens) and i wish to attach them as a set and use on my m lens (35mm+50mm summicron). i purchased a 39mm to 55mm step up ring but sadly it dont feet. what step up ring will i need from 39mm to _____? , or down from 55mm to ______? thank you ofir.

Hello everyone, I've gotten a set of Elpro 1, 2, 3, and 4 in E55 size. Part numbers: Elpro 1 - 16541 Elpro 2 - 16542 Elpro 3 - 16543 Elpro 4 - 16544 Now I am wondering what they are for, I can find information about them being for the Summicron-R 50mm, I have this lens so could try it out. But what I can't easily find is what is the difference between the Elpros, and if you can stack them, and what other lenses they could work on. etc. etc. When googling about them I can't find much information about them at all. Does anyone have an original brochure about them, where Leica tells us what are they for and how are we supposed to use them? And with what lenses etc. Could I for example use them/some/one of them on a M lens like a Summilux-M 50mm or similar with a step up ring. Any direction into information about the Elpros would be appreciated. For example, sales brochure, LFI articles, or forum articles. Thank you!

Hallo, ich würde mir gerne noch eine achromatische Nahlinse für die V-Lux 2 zulegen. Hat jemand hiermit schon Erfahrungen sammeln können? Für die V-Lux 1 bzw. FZ 50 wurde häufig die Nahlinse Elpro 3 empfohlen. Gilt diese Empfehlung auch für die V-Lux 2? Danke für Eure Rückmeldungen!

I am a fairly new member here and have enjoyed back and forth, the information freely given, and the photographs...wonderful resource and entertainment. Vorsatzlinse 1,2, and 3 have come my way (Elpro, Elpik, and Elpet). They are mentioned a few times in various threads here but only passingly. I would like to know more about their application...any suggestions?

Has anyone ever used a Leica Elpro 2 with a D-Lux 4? I have an adapter tube, with 52mm. If I use a 52-55 stepup ring, this should be a winning combo, no? Since my other camera is a Digilux 2 and its proprietary Elpro-D is beyond the reqch of my wallet, I was looking into buyin one of the Elpro filters for my D-Lux 4> Does anyone have the specifications for the Elpro 1,2,3 and 4? I'm not quite sure which one I should get (it would be for macro work on flowers). Thanks for your input!
