Is it possible to Super Impose Several Images on top of each other like a Stop Motion shot? I want to capture 3-4 seconds of a baseball player swimming a bat with each of the shots on top of each other in the same image. Is this possible with the DLux4?

On a walk round our neighbourhood, spotted this 1957 Chevy Stepside pickup incongruously parked in a suburban driveway. Immaculately restored, but my romantic self says that the paint should be desert-patina'd and the coachwork dogie-dented… DLux4

I've searched everywhere and can't find any samples pics taken with or reviews of the CF22. Can anyone who owns it, pipe in with a small review? I know that Panasonic make their own version that supposedly tilts for more bounce options. I've heard some people say that with such a small flash it would be kind of pointless to have this option. How good is the CF22 at TTL? I like the high sync on the DLUX4 and have gotten some awesome results in high noon sun using a SF20 as a fill flash on manual but would rather get something more fool proof. Would it perform much better then the on camera flash. I've also checked the Olympus flash that works on the DLUX4 but I'd rather get something that is smaller in size.

Hello, I am an M8/M7 user interested in adding a more pocketable general purpose camera and a D-Lux looks like a nice option. I have compared the specifications of the D-Lux-3 and D-Lux-4 and can't see an obvious vast improvement in the #4, since the faster lens comes at the expense of the shorter zoom range. The grip and viewfinder options are nice ideas as are some other small changes, but again none are deciding factors. Can someone please refer me to an earlier discussion on this topic, anything that might help me form an opinion. If possible keeping the Panasonic versions out of the discussion for simplicity. I have been unable to locate a discussion of this comparison. Thanks, Doug

The first of the swamp plants that grow at a stream's edge here in New England. Handheld - it does show the capability and convenience of the DLux4.

I bought a D-Lux 4 after reading alot about this camera in forums such as this. I´m quite amazed by this camera! I´v almost replaced my heavy DSLR equipment! I take alot of HDR photos with it. Only thing I miss is to be able to auto bracket the shots in +2, 0, -2 ev (it´s only +-1), but I´v found a way around that. I have a sturdy carbon tripod, and I start with setting the camera on manual and underexpose around -2 ev. The starting point of this photo is f/8, 1/2000. Then I gently nudge the joystick three clicks down on the shutter speed, which is exactly 1 ev. Then I have at least 5 shots with speeds from 1/2000, 1/1000, 1/500, 1/250 and 1/125. I´m very careful so I don´t move the camera. That can be tricky, but mostly I´m satisfied by the results. Check out this photo to see what I came up with this weekend: I´v tuned the contrast a bit to create deapth and a cold dynamic feel.. - Eide -- Flickr: .Eide's Photostream
