Hello there! I just got my new Noctilux 0.95 from Amazon and immediately I found that the aperture ring on the lens is inverted, i.e. the numbers are facing the bottom of the lens and the aperture white dot is facing down as well. The lens itself is functional and not defective but this makes the adjustment of the aperture really inconvenient. Any way to fix this? Thanks!
Hi Looking for advice. I have a few soft releases that I use with the M9 and M6. Never had any problem attaching them to the camera. When the Monochrom arrived, I could not attach it at all. It spins and then comes off. Like the thread inside is not the way is supposed to be. I also have a cable release (really old one). The cable I was able to attach without a problem but not the soft releases (tried a number of them). I am afraid that if force, then would definitely damage the thread. Have anyone found similar problem? I won't send the camera for repair just for that, but if I have to se
My d-lux 3 has started producing a vertical red line (lower half of frame, just off center) on more than half of my frames. I'll try to upload some images below. Does anyone know what this indicates? I suspect the line is caused by a strip of bad pixels in the sensor, but does this mean that the sensor is on the way out? Or might it perform like this for years without any further degradation? And does anyone know if it is repairable? As I mentioned in another thread, I've been tempted to upgrade to the d-lux 5 or lx-5. Have I just found an excuse? By the way, how much better is th
