  1. Hello everyone, long time reader first time posting. I purchased a Leica M10 from Camtec in Montreal almost two weeks ago and I'm in love with it. I used it on a few shoots and just recently on a weekend getaway. More often then I'd like to admit, I miss the exposure and rely on the dng to recover. So when recovering the shadows in an image I underexposed dramatically, I was surprised to see red, blue and green pixels lighting up all over the place on the image. Does anyone know what these could be? I've never experienced this with any other digital camera. And I don't think it's dust, these are pixel sized points. Thanks in advance! Andrew
  2. So.... i only got the Leica M 240 a week ago and after i took it to a trip to Korea, I find this line going across the images. So I thought it was memory card. Swapped it for a new one. Same problem. Now I thought it was the actual LCD monitor that was the problem. Nope. When I was in LiveView, the line isn't there. Weird. So now it's getting shipped to Solms (teardrop) and have to wait for 6-8 weeks. The reason why I am posting this is because I couldn't find other Leica M owners who had this problem (yes, with other models but not for the new M). Please share your pain with me here if you have the same problem as me. http://i1348.photobucket.com/albums/p729/christianpsu/1_zpsbfb2500d.jpg
  3. I just made the move to digital Rangefinder from an M4, with the purchase of a used M8 from KEH camera. I also have a Leica X1. I am unsure if this is a common issue or normal for the M8. It seems at all ISO i have a few, what appears to be Hot Pixels pink blue and green colored, the number of "spots" increases with higher ISO. However when in play mode the photo displays these inperfections for a moment then the photo seems to correct and the Pixels or Spots are gone. Also these are not noticable in the photos only at extreame crops Does anyone know what this is, any help or advice will be greatly apriciated, could there be dozens of hot pixels? is this a issue with the sensor? Should i return this camera??
