OK, I give up. The SL2 camera does NOT want me to set date and time. I can change their format, but I can't set actual values from the camera. I've switched off the sync via Smartphone option. I can select individual year, month, and date. But no control I try (no dials or buttons) does anything to change their values. Any ideas what is going on here??

I have had a very strange issue with my M10. I am on the latest firmware version 1.3.4.0 The date information is incorrect when imported into Lightroom CC. All of my photos show the exact same date and time. I have changed the date in the menu settings and it will change the date but will not advance it. I have also reset the camera several times with the same result. For example if I set the date to 4/3/2017 10:00am all of the photos taken after that will show the same date and time. It will not advance. I spoke with Leica USA Support and their advice was to only set the time and not the date and then go back in and set the date after and see if that works. Which it doesn't. The camera functions great, no lockups and the photos look great. I am hoping that I am missing something and someone out there can help.

Hi, When I format my SD card in my M typ240 and start shooting, the 100LEICA folder that is created is dated 31 DEC 2047 12:00 AM... Never had this with my M9. My camera-clock is working correctly. I'd like the newly created folder to have the date and time of creation (of shooting)... Anyone else experiences this? Something I missed in the manual and I can do to prevent folders being 'created' in 2047...? Thanks!

I recently got a M9 and it freezes when I am trying to set the date. The date showed up initially as year 2145 the first time I turned the M9 on. When I try to set the date, the M9 freezes and won't even turn off. I have to reset the M9 by taking the batteries out. Very rarely, the M9 will let me set the date without freezing up. But then a few minutes later, the date reverts back to year 2145. and if I try to set the date, the M9 freezes up again. Needless to say, I stopped trying to set the date. When I take photos with the date set at year 2145, the EXIF info on my photos all say that the photo was taken on January 1, 1970. Anyone else encounter issues like this? Thank you for your help.
