In the half term break I had a day where my son was at nursery and my wife at work. This meant I had a rare opportunity of having a day to myself. I had no idea what to do with myself. I decided to set off with the dog walking with the goal being to reach a local village called Affetside. The village is on the old Roman Road and has a lovely pub called the Pack Horse. My wife's family always called the The Pack Horse Inn "The Skull" as behind the bar is a human skull purported to be that of the executioner of the Earl of Derby. Anyway, I took along my M9 50 Summicron and CV15mm. The 15mm I am still getting used to and finding the best way to 'tame' it. I hope you enjoy the series.
