Hi I am a new user of Leica X. I would like to know anyone here tried out the different menu settings for Film Mode, Sharpness, Saturation and Contrast. I have applied "standard" all the time. Wonder what would be a good combination. Also, do these settings affect the DNG file? Regards ML

Bad weather I like. Well, for photography that is... It can make an otherwise dull place that little bit more interesting. My home town is decidedly dull. Even duller on a rainy day. But I managed to get three shots that was worthwhile. This one of them, hope you like it! (M9 with an old 35mm Summicron)

Hello! I plan to take a few shots on PanF+ tomorrow. I want to get a somewhat higher contrast and not as much shadow detail (black background for portraits). As a developer I only have Rodinal available. Grain is no issue. Does anyone have recommendations for the developement? E.I. doesn't have to be 50. Thanks in advance!

Inspired by Sean's reviews I have bought one of the lower contrast CV lenses for my M8 to use in high contrast situations (e.g. sunny days). I like the results and I am wondering whether there are any filters available that achieve the same thing for my higher contrast lenses? A quick look at the B+W website didn't turn anything useful up. Does anybody here know of a solution?
