  1. Hi - not really important, but there are a lot of discussions around chromatic aberration with all sorts of objectives - I looked at all kinds of pics from my Q and I could never find some - what`s your experience?
  2. I read quite a few reviews of the 23mm Summicron-T before picking it up, and most noted something along the lines of: "Lateral chromatic aberration remained within the negligible category for all aperture settings." (e.g., Photo Review) But I see a lot of CA, both in the camera JPEGs and whatever Lightroom can do with the RAWs. I've attached downscaled corner crops from two here. Am I just not using this thing right or is something wrong with mine? Most of what I see below does not qualify as "negligible" in my book. I know these are overexposed a bit (usually need to remember to bring the EV down a bit in automatic modes with the T) and have some harsh contrast, but it still seems excessive.
  3. Hi there, I have been shooting every day since I got this ultimate combo. One thing that really catches my attention is green fringes come around very often. Honestly, I never really paid much attention to the chromatic aberration before. It can be because the lenses used before are not that sharp ... nor expensive. I have been searching around for comments and discussions about chromatic aberration. There is a lot of comments saying that NX095 has a very good control on the usual blue/purple fringes. Also, the CA issue comes mostly in highlight area, and often overexposed. However, I do not seem to find much about green fringes. There are photos that the green fringes come around in very obvious highlight or overexposed edges. However, attached are samples that make me wonder a bit (if not concerned :-I The fringes are inside the red circles. These green fringes do not seem to come in very highlighted or overexposed areas. Are these green fringes an accepted "feature" of the NX095? So if I shoot with F4 and over they should not appear at all? In Lightroom 2 I find it rather difficult to correct the green ones, and so almost every time I need to spend quite some time to get rid of them in Photoshop ... I hope it is not a particular case for my copy of NX095,. And certainly I hope it is neither an issue the M9 at all (and in most of the comments I have read confirm this also).
