Having read various threads on various forums, folks had suggested that a #412 or BR122 battery was the correct 22.5V battery for my CEYOO. Having recently acquired a huge box of assorted bulbs (mainly #5 and Press 25 but a few FP26's) I was keen to get flashing (no - not THAT way). I bought a pair of new 412 batteries and fitted one in my newly acquired Rolleiflash, only to find it had a Bay#I arm on it and I needed a Bay#II for my Rolleiflex 3.5E Planar, with f2.8 Heidosmat viewing lens. I then went on to try and get the CEYOO to work. I knew that the capacitor was dead, so I have replaced that. I then went to fit in the new 412 battery and found it is slightly too fat and too square shouldered to slide down the tube. The problem is that certain sites give the dimensions of a BR122 as 50 x 26 x 12mm, which would fit I think and others give it as 50 x 26 x 16mm, which is identical to the #412 and I know, does not fit. Another suggestion is a #505 battery, which is 50mm x 16mm (slightly squared off tubular). Has anyone actually fitted a new battery in a CEYOO recently and if so what? I don't have the multiple AAA battery carrier. My manual is no help, just saying a replacement 22.5V battery is available from your Leica dealer. Wilson
