Hi, is there a case for the camera (halfcase) , that I can use with the HG-DC1 grip together? my search only points to the case with integrated grip …. has anybody found such thing ? cheers Peter

I bought this old Leica case off craigslist for not much, hoping to kick start a Leica collection, and I'm having trouble figuring out its model. There are only a handful of forms and websites that have information on a cases like this, but I have yet to find information relevant to the configuration of my case. Its obviously in very rough shape, most likely missing many parts, only hindering my search for information on it. Anyways I was hoping you guys could help me out! I'm very new to this form, so forgive me for my being ill-informed on the topic.

Did Leica ever make a case for the FISON and in particular one that would attach to the camera strap as my Leica case only has the front of the case that would take a collapsable Elmar so would be handy to have a case on the strap, thanks.

Hello. I'm looking for original case of Leica 250 Reporter. Maybe somebody know resources (except eBay) what I should monitoring for the subject? And how it do in the best way? -
To my new Q I've added the LIM's half case with grip, which is, in one unit, equivalent to the Leica Q grip and the Leica half case, minus the screw hole for the Leica finger grip. Cost around $100. Excellent workmanship, no shortcomings at all. They have a deluxe model that integrates a very trim Arca-style plate into the bottom.

I like to travel light so when I saw one of these my eyes boggled! Put the M 240 with 50 attached in compartment, 28 alongside and the 135 slips into the bottled water holder. Any thoughts?

First off, for those who have held the CL... How does it feel? ... Smooth like the T? Cold like the T? Ever so slightly padded like the Q? Do you feel the need for more grip / control?

I'm looking for a small, fitted, sophisticated, high-quality bag that will hold my iPad, iPhone, Leica T with the 18 - 56, and a few small personal items. I occasionally like to go analog with the Leica M3 and a single lens, so it would be nice if the bag could hold the M3 in place of the T. I regularly travel internationally for work, which means that much of my time abroad is spent in a suit/sport coat. My current arsenal includes bags from Billingham, ONA, and Fogg. However, given the formality of my dress, I'm looking for something a bit more professional that could pass as a small brief. ordered this because the original description said that it fit a ii with a scnoo winder, turns out i've been tod it fits a iiif with a viooh viewfinder and a leicavit --- anyone know a leica code for it- I'd say condition is 9/10 -- just trying to find the right code -- looked around a bit and couldn't find this configuration --

Keeping M240 and lenses in Pelican 1520 case safe and organized for location shoots and travel when other bags wont be protective enough. 50mm 1.4 ASPH and another M body will be added to the case (which there is enough space for them).

Hi! Im new to the forum and about to purchase my first Leica camera. I was planning to graduate and buy an M-9, but as my fortune (or misfortune) would have it, I am going back to school for a few more years. Thus, I am in the market for an X1. Ive read a lot about this camera on the internet. Ive sent emails to users. I've even had a test day with its competitor. I have my eyes set on one already, which includes a half gariz case and a brown leica case. I was wondering, now that you have owned this camera for a few years can you comment on how the camera has held up through travel, work, and life?! Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated and I hope to return the favour someday. If it makes any difference, I am most interested in a black X1.

I just wanted to know if anyone has any idea where I can get an ever ready case for my R4? I've come across one on Ebay, but that's it! If I'm not going to be able to find one I don't suppose anyone knows of anywhere that sells just plain leather ever ready cases that would fit an R4? Just to be clear, I'm after this sort of thing but for an R4 Cheers!

Hi there I have a DL5 with leather case - all good! but have purchased a EVF with its seperate leather pouch which does not have any facility for attaching to the case or strap. Would like to have the camera with EVF attached around my neck (no case) and wonder if there's a Leica (or other) solution. have looked at spectacle neckstraps but clasps are not strong. any help appreciated thanks

Hello Everyone!!! I am new to this so sorry if this topic has been already discussed. But I did not find anything in particular when using the search function. My dad is going to buy a Leica camera, probably M9 and I would like to buy him a very nice leather camera case to it as it is his birthday coming up. Does anyone have an idea where to buy one? Any nice recommendations especially regarding quality. By camera case I mean the "ready to shoot" things and not the bag or box you carry around with you. Cheers and thank you in advance!!! Ben

Does anyone know if the tan leather case for the D-Lux 4 will also fit the D-Lux 5? I'm guessing not, since the dimensions of the two camera bodies are slightly different. I've got a D-Lux 5 on the way, but the new dark brown case Leica is showing for the D-Lux 5 is positively cheesy looking in comparison to the earlier model for the D-Lux 4. I was hoping I could order the tan case designed for the D-Lux 4, and the 5 would fit.
