This extraordinary "Made in Canada" gem will be sold at Wetzlar Camera Auctions soon (courtesy of Jo Geier/Lars Netopil). It is most likely a prototype Summilux 35 f/1.4 for evaluation use.

Hey guys, I’m from Halifax, Nova Scotia. We have no local Leica dealer so I always need to buy remotely unfortunately. I recently bought an M10 black from a shop in Montreal (camtec photo) which I’ve used before, and when something goes wrong with my cameras I would normally mail it back to the shop and they would deal with sending it to Leica etc. I want to buy a silver M10 now but camtec does not have stock. If I buy from bh photo or somewhere else like that, am I still covered for warranty purposes? Can I deal with Leica NJ directly from Canada? I’m sure you all know that Canada does not have its own Leica repair facility so we need to use Leica USA for that. But I’m a little confused on the details. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
