Hi All,
New to this forum. I acquired a Leica IIIc, and I've just developed my first films from it. All the photos taken in bright conditions with the diaphragm closed have a series of white bight spots, but exposures taken in dark conditions with the diaphragm open don't suffer from the problem. the bright spots are in the same place on every exposure, and has appeared on every film i've developed.
I'm assuming my diaphragm must be damaged and leaking light. Is this a common problem, is there anything I can do about it?
I'm based in Dubai, so attached is an example photo of some camels, an ode to Thesiger.
Thanks,
Christian.
