Today I received a book published with Blurb and made from the Lightroom app. The pictures (MM, M) are incredibly sharp. The black and white on the front is beyond breath. However, black and white from the MM on the inside have all been turned into some kind of dark sepia (brown hue). It is off-tone. Colored pictures from the M with black in it are black. Borders are appropriately black where this was selected as background. Blurb can obviously handle black. Who has encountered this sepia toning of MM pictures generated from Lightroom? What should I do?

Morning all For a number of years now I've been making photo books for friends and family (my Mum absolutely loves them). Usually I've used the book-printing service in iPhoto on the Mac. However, now that I've got an M9, I'm wondering if it's time (or possible) to up the ante in terms of print, paper and binding quality. Anyone know of any services that are better than Apple's? I was in the Mayfair shop last week and had a look at the last Leica Forum charity book - I was impressed with the quality. I understand this was produced by Blurb - has anyone used them? Any good or bad reviews in terms of product and service? Thanks in advance K

At the Blurb For Good web shop, I have presented a book on Japan: Kyoto, Eternal city of cherry blossoms, geishas and temples. You can search there for 'Kyoto'. This is a book for fundraising. All profits go to the Japanese Red Cross. The cover photo is from the Ryoanji Dry Garden, a special meditative temple. M8, Summicron 35 Enjoy, and do have a look at the book. And be prepared - it is addictive. Something you will want, and can afford. albert
