  1. Can the SL2 mounted with the SL2.0 / 35 ASPH fit into a Billingham Hadley Small Pro 2020?
  2. For five days i've been trying to get hold on Billingham's customer service, but without any luck yet. I've tried to send email via Gmail, Outlook and trying to reach them on Twitter as well as sending a message via their own website, but no response yet, what so ever. Can anyone in this forum tell me, whether the company still exists, since it seems impossible to reach them, even i've made several attempts? If you see someone from the company, or bump into someone from Billingham, could you please tell them, that a customer is looking for them, since it is a complete Mission Impossible for me, after using several hours the last five days just trying. This just can't be right, i almost refuse to believe it. Their website is rather sluggish as well. Have been doing four attempts to buy on their website (since i can't reach them), but the system will not accept my telephone number (which is to be used for confirmation). Their website complains about there is a missing number, but since our country have one digit less, than the system expect, it's impossible to place and complete an order, because the phone number can't be confirmed. Besides that their website is extremly slow, and it takes 10-15 minutes just to try to place an order, which will not go through in the end anyway, so no luck there either. Yes, maybe i'm a bit mad at the moment, but i must say, i've never in my whole life experienced such a bad service from a company in the whole world - not even close enough, i must admit. How in the world do they think they can get new customers, since it's so f****** impossible to both reach them, and also to place an order online, which is totally impossible from my country?
  3. I have tried searching on both this forum and Google as well, but haven't found the answer there, since i can't find any pictures nor videos with two M bodies and mounted lenses. There aren't any photo dealers around where i live, so i will be buying without being able to see or try to put my gear in the bag, so i rely on your help here I'm gonna need a new bag, and after looking after several brands and model, the search has been narrowed to either Billingham Hadley Small or the Billingham Hadley Pro. I will only choose the Hadley Pro if the Small is - yes, too small. 99% of the time this is the gear i have with me: Leica M Monochrom with Summicron-M 35 mm ASPH Leica M6 with Summicron-M 35 mm Version 4 Charger for the Monochrom Three 39 mm filters in plastic cases Lee Seven5 kit (filter holder, 39 mm adapter and one Filter) Cable Release 2-3 films My mind is set on the Hadley Small since i reckon it all fits in the bag without any problems. Only thing is that the Monochrom is 80 mm in the height while the bag is "only" 70 mm deep. I could imagine the bag is so flexible that 10 millimeters will be no problem, as the bag seems "spacy" according to what i've seen on the web. Do have any experiences carrying two M bodies (one digital and on analog) in the Hadley Small? How do they fit in the bag? Thanks in advance for your help
  4. I'm of to vacation in Spain next week. Anyone here any ideas where to buy Billingham bags in Spain, the 14855 model in particular? The shop/dealer must be able to send the bag to the place where i will be staying, because it's a long way to the bigger cities. Unfortunately Billingham doesn't list dealers in Spain on the retailer list on their website. Any suggestions regarding trusted and good Billingham dealers in Spain, that could ship to the private address in spain as well? Thanks.
  5. I have been browsing through the different threads about bags and have a had a lot of help in where to look for a bag that fulfills my specs: - M9 w 50/2 + lens hood attached - room for 13 inch lap top or .... - iPad plus the bluetooth keyboard from Apple - Moleskin large note book (13x21 cm) - chargers/cables - passport - be able to "hook" the bag to a cabin trolley for easy transport at airports - rugged, but it do not have to be completely weather protected - more look like a briefcase than a camera bag As you notice from the specs I am looking more for a briefcase/satchel with the possibility of storing a rangefinder w lens than a camera bag. The idea is that I shall be able to always have my camera with me at the same time as the bag should be ok to use in business meeting. I am now down to Billingham Hadley Pro ... I think. But, before placing an order I would like to hear from the members if there are any other bag you would recommend for the purposes explained above. Hakan
  6. My X1 arrived 10 days ago, but unfortunately there appeared a delay on supplying the leather transport case. I thus called my supplier to change it to the system bag after I read somewhere on here that the transport case was a bit fiddly, and you couldn't use it with the neck strap attached. The system bag arrived today. Actually in reality it turned out a bit smaller than I expected - though a very nice little bag I am pleased with it. The design itrigued me a bit. Over the years I have used a few BIllingham Bags and currently use two Billingam Leica Combination bags - one for a D3 and the other for a V-lux 1 plus other odds and ends I take on trips. There does not appear to be a makers name on the X1 System Bag or country of origin but what struck me was its great similarity to the Billingham down to its internal layout and front pocket covered by the flap. Out of curiosity I was wondering who makes this X1 bag? Is it Billingham? John
  7. Sometimes I have to transport a large amount of gear between my bases in Puerto Vallarta and Cancun. The gear I need to transport: Leica m9 50mm Noctilux f/1 50mm Summicron f/2 35mm Summicron f/2 W.A.T.E. Canon 5D mk2 70-200 f/2.8 is L 24-70 f/2.8 L 50 mm f1.4 100 mm macro f2.8 fisheye Canon 580 flashgun 2x nikon sb 28 2 x pocket wizard portable external hard drive 17 inch Macbook pro Do does anyone know what bag would fit all of this stuff? I like the look for the Billingham 550 but can't seem to find out if it will fit my 17 inch macbook pro? Any suggestions?
