  1. Living not too far from this fairly well know tourist attraction, I thought I would capture the cottages on a wet and overcast day as it has fewer tourists around and the less contrasty lighting allows the overall ambience of the buildings to stand out. I was balancing an umbrella carefully to keep myself and the camera dry so apologies to anyone who thought there was a new "Idiot loose in the village" - only me trying to get the shots I wanted. I am pleased with the results and feel they have captured the essence of the place in a fairly timeless way. I hope all who view them, like them.
