I took this on a trip to Barcelona in November 2015, but I have just worked on it to get a look I am happy with so that I could submit it to a National Geographic project entitled 'Quiet Moment'. I used a Leica M9 with 35mm Leica Summarit f2.5 lens and shot at 400iso. Gerry

A short set of photographs of the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (the MACBA, excellently described in this thread). We are lucky to live in Barcelona, which makes it easier to catch the best light for these kinds of photographs. All shots were made using the M7 and a 21mm lens with stacked filters. This was Delta 100 processed in ID-11. I have a difficult time shooting with the 21mm on the M7, as getting accurate framing with the external viewfinder is problematic. For some of these, I used the rangefinder to get the alignment as accurate as possible, but they still needed some slight rotation during scanning.

Three Asian tourists sample the delights of one of the many stalls selling a variety of freshly cooked food within the main market which can be found just off La Rambla in Barcelona. The Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria, often simply referred to as La Boqueria, dates back to 1217, although the preset structure dates to 1853. Now firmly on the international tourist trail, the market is still popular with locals and visitors alike. Leica M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5. 1/30 - f4 - 800iso. Gerry

Taken with the Leica M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 lens in the Plaça de Castella in El Raval district of Barcelona. Hope you like it! Gerry

These two were taken on a trip to Barcelona in November to work alongside by good friend, and fine Barcelona street shooter, Lluis Ripoll. I used the M9 and the Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 for both, and b&w conversion was in LRCC. Gerry

I took this girl texting on her cellphone, totally oblivious to the passing crowds. I used the Leica M9 using the Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 and then post processed in LRCC. I hope you like it. Gerry

This image was taken in a small bar in the El Raval district of Barcelona using the Leica M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 lens @ 1600iso, and then post-processed in LR CC 2015.3 with some difficulty because of the low light levels, and the window to the extreme left which threw the exposure out a bit (this is a cropped image). This has turned out to be one of my favourite images from the trip. Gerry

Ich weiß, ich kann hier nicht mithalten. Ich habe meine D-Lux 4 auch erst seit einer Woche. Heute war in Barcelona Sant Jordi. Frauen kriegen Rosen geschenkt, Männer Bücher. Wer mehr wissen will: Hier. In größer hier. Danke Tobias
