Tri-x 400/ilfosol3/1+9 for 9 min M6ttl-35mm summicron i'm still learning how to edit my negatives to my liking. Any tips? I scan using an Epson v600 and then transfer them over to PS.

I'm having an old lpl stainless steel tank and spiral. 30 years ago I developed all my film in this assembly. Spooling was no problem at all. I could do it while having a cup of coffee ;=)) To get used again to this spooling I tried some older Cinefilm and there was no problem at all. Now I do try newer b&w films, and I have the impression that they are much thinner (emulsion and film base) then the older films making it much more difficult to spool the film on the spiral. What is your impression. Would a plastic spiral (jobo 1510?) be better / easier?
