Hi, I would love to have back the backbutton focus ! And it would be great if we can use the usb c cable with the iPhone and app ! Anybody else interested in this too?

Guten Abend, ich habe eine Frage! Hab schon das Forum durchsucht leider nichts passendes gefunden. Ist die Verwendung der Fernsteuerung per Handy und der Leica Foto App nur mit W-Lan möglich? Ich bekomme das ohne W-Lan nicht hin! Ich denke es macht Sinn, dass man die Fernsteuerung auch auf der Straße verwenden kann also mit Mobilen Daten… Vielen Dank schon einmal vorab! -
edit: Sprache geändert Lieber Q2 Benutzer, ich möchte wissen ob Geotagging funktioniert und wie lange es dauert um die Raw durch die App runterzuladen. Die zwei Funktonen sind mir wichtig zu Digital umzusteigen, außer Handyfotos. Würdest du die Erfahrung mitteilen? Schöne Grüße,

Dear Q2 users, I am interested to find out if geotagging works reliably and the time it takes to download the raw through the app. These 2 features are critical to get into digital, other than cellphone photos, for me. Would you mind sharing your experience? Thanks,

Hallo Community, bin hier neu in der Community, bin neu mit der Leica, aber nicht neu in der Fotografie. Mein Steckenpferd sind virtuelle Panoramen, aus denen sich sehr schöne großformatige Bilder extrahieren lassen. Bei der Panoramafotografie muss man alle Automatik abstellen. So auch den Autofokus. Nun habe ich gedacht, dass ich mit der App die Kamera (Leica Q2) auslösen kann. Das kann ich zwar, aber nur mit Autofokus. So funktioniert das aber bei den Panos nicht. Ich habe mir nun eine mechanische Hilfe gebaut. Naja... Hat Jemand eine Idee, wie ich die Kamera fernauslösen kann, ohne Autofokus. Vorab schon mal vielen Dank, Ronald

Hi, just got the app for IOS. I have an iPhone and Ipad, do I need to pay two subscriptions? I downloaded the app to my iPad but it is only the 7 day free trial version even though I pay for PRP version. thanks

Hello All, I've been trying to reach out to Leica about an issue I'm finding with the Leica FOTOS app for iPad but no responses. I'm able to connect my SL2 to my iPad Pro with the FOTOS app but getting a very soft image when viewing in the Remote mode. The library thumbnails look soft too. I do get nice clean images when I open up an image already captured. Maybe I'm missing something? I tried with both of my SL2s and no luck. It would be a nice app to use on some photoshoots. Only other issue is that it doesn't support 2 card slots so a backup not happening when using the app. Thanks, Paul

Hi all - new to the forum and new to Leica! Just got an as new Leica T this week and have a couple of bugs I'd like to fix: Firstly the Leica T app was working fine until i upgraded the firmware to 1.7 - any ideas? won't always connect and when it does cant read the pics from my SD. Secondly - the strap lugs won't click into place without me putting the pin in - surely should only need the pin when taking the strap out? Any advice would be great! Thanks

I wonder, Leica Partnered up with Huawei for a Phone, the P9, the P10 and so on. They even sell them in the Leica Stores, all around. Wonderful phones, I got both, Like them a Lot. Now i wonder, i changed from the M240 to the M10, and apparently, there is an app for it. But strangely not for Android, only for IoS. Isn't this something that questions logic? Selling in same-store Android phones with the brand name on it. AND the camera's that can use the APP technology for some functions. Only the both aren't compatible? ... So my question is, is there an Android app for the M10? And will there be one ? In order to restore logic ? Thanks ju

Hi everyone! I’m currently traveling in Myanmar right now and yesterday the app on my iPhone suddenly stopped connecting? I have been using the app for well over a year and had used it 5 minutes prior to it not connecting on me. Now when I try to connect the WiFi network it indicates that I have put in the incorrect password. Which I haven’t. I’ve tried several times just to make sure and have had others try to make sure it wasn’t just me but it indicates incorrect password despite putting in the password displayed on the Q. Help please. I usually travel solo and this app has been a lifesaver. Thank you in advance and happy holidays!

I've just downloaded the Red Dot Camera app from iTunes. It simulates a manual focus "rangefinder" by using touch-screen dials for shutter speed, ISO, EV compensation, and focus There is no auto-focus or zoom, but a choice of three fixed focal lengths; nor is there aperture control, due to the small size of the lens. As an iPhone 5 user, this is more intuitive and less cumbersome than the device's own camera. It's free with an imprint on images or you pay for the full version. Colin.

Has anybody had experience with this app? I can ger the same picture on my iPad as on the back of the SL but I can do nothing, not change aperture or take a picture. And the connection breaks. The iPad is close to the SL. Help please! /Eric

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, wie ich in der Leica Q App unter iOS den Fokus-Rahmen verschieben kann, sodass nicht nur in der Bildmitte fokussiert wird? Ich finde die App ziemlich nutzlos, wenn der Fokusbereich nicht selbst bestimmt werden kann in der App.

Die Leica Q-App läuft nicht unter iOS 9. Wer sie also dringend benötigt, sollte mit dem Update warten. Leica arbeitet an einem Update der App. Bei Fujifilm funktioniert übrigens auch nicht, falls hier jemand auch mit Fujifilm arbeitet. Gruß, Jens
