I have tried to Install Leica Fotos on my Windows 11 PC. First step is to download the app. That was straightforward. But it comes as an .apk file which seems to only work in an Android environment. So to execute that in Windows it seems I need to first install WSA (Windows Subsystem for Android} When I try that, using the Microsoft link, I have to use the Amazon apps pool. I don't use Amazon and do not want to and be subjected to a deluge of their ads. And anyway I presume I will have to pay. So much for saying that Leica Fotos is free. What is needed is a Windows compatible Fotos program. I note that Microsoft is now bigger than Apple by stock exchange valuation so it seems odd to ignore it when developing software. Comments?

This Android powered tablet looks cool and functional i wish Leica would sell it loaded with FOTOS or a dedicated tether/capture/View tool as an accessory for the S/SL/series

I wonder, Leica Partnered up with Huawei for a Phone, the P9, the P10 and so on. They even sell them in the Leica Stores, all around. Wonderful phones, I got both, Like them a Lot. Now i wonder, i changed from the M240 to the M10, and apparently, there is an app for it. But strangely not for Android, only for IoS. Isn't this something that questions logic? Selling in same-store Android phones with the brand name on it. AND the camera's that can use the APP technology for some functions. Only the both aren't compatible? ... So my question is, is there an Android app for the M10? And will there be one ? In order to restore logic ? Thanks ju
