  1. Hi - any help would be much appreciated. I use Lightroom CC on my desktop and on my iPhone. In December, Adobe did a camera profile update where the Leica M10-P was added with the proper profile. Now when I import/look at M10-P photos in Lightroom CC on my desktop, I can see the Adobe profiles for M10-P - e.g. Adobe Standard, Adobe Colour, Adobe Landscape etc in the Profile section (as it should be). However Lightroom CC on my iPhone - I am having an issue where I cannot see the profiles - i.e. Lightroom CC on iOS is not recognising the M10-P files.I contacted Adobe. After a bit of troubleshooting - they looked at my files, they too could replicate the problem and they have recommended I reset my camera etc. However I am saying it works in Lightroom CC for desktop, but not on iOS so the files I think are okay. Maybe it’s just an issue with Leica M10-P and Lightroom on iOS.Does anyone else here use Adobe Lightroom CC on iOS and has imported M10-P files and CAN see the Adobe profiles (Adobe Standard, Adobe Landscape, Adobe Portrait etc)? It's a very odd one and I want to understand if it's my camera or if it's a bug in Lightroom CC on iOS and the M10-P profiles.thank you,
  2. OK, Leica you are so generous to offer us free license of Adobe Lightroom with the purchase of a Leica M (type 240)...But with the upgrade to Lightroom 6.0, then existing Leica owners are stuck, no upgrade???!!! We start paying for upgrading??? Whereas if you buy "now" (i.e: after the release of LR6.0) a Leica M (type 240) body then you get a complimentary license of LR 6.0!!!! Mmmmm....Can't understand the logic!!! Anyone can please HELP to explain the above or maybe I am missing few facts...Tnks
  6. Made with an M9 and the Adobe Lens Profile Creator. These are for the 35mm Summicron, 28mm Summicron, and the 50mm Summilux all latest versions. Download, unzip file and place contents (3 lcp files) in 'user'/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0 Then restart Lightroom and Photoshop. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8036739/M9%20Lens%20Profiles/M9%20Lens%20Profiles.zip
  7. Has anyone published a lens profile for Adobe LightRoom and/or Photoshop CS5?
  8. Just got set up with my new X1 and very excited. I am an existing Aperture user but also took advantage to download the free edition of Adobe Lightroom courtesy of the kind folks at Leica. Just wondering what people's views are in terms of which is the preferred software for working with the X1's RAW images? Should I stick with Aperture or switch to Lightroom?
  9. when i check 'enable profile corrections' under 'lens corrections' in the 'develop' pane, i don't see any option for leica lenses. are they not supported? thanks.

    D-Lux 4 and Adobe CS3

I've finally taken the plunge and ordered a D-Lux 4. However, because I use a number of plug-ins which only work with Adobe CS3, I will need to use that programme to convert RAW files and then apply the filters. Apologies if this question has been asked before, however, has an Adobe download been produced that allows RAW conversion for CS3? If so, I'd be extremely grateful if someone would send me a link to it. I've seen an Adobe download for CS4 and that mentions all sorts of techno-babble about linear DNG and other stuff I don't understand. What I'm looking for, if it exists, is a simple solution to what I think should be a simple problem. Thanks in anticipation. Regards, Paul.
