  1. Wroclaw (Breslau), Poland, Jewish cemetery , Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron 43 mm This cemetery is quite an abandoned place where just a first attempt of cleaning and weeding gives the sight free of its former beauty. It can be seen that future will probably rouse more interest in this almost forgotten part of history. We enjoyed the trnaquil atmosphere which made us almost meditate.
  2. Duisburg, Landscape Park North. This location is so full of potential that one can spend their days shooting with different light and subjects. This time we started with wideangle aspects first. We were drawn to its surreal aspects. Leica Q
  3. We followed a recommendation of a footage on TV to discover Wroclaw's famous meeting scene with bars and clubs. What did we find? We followed some students and our was lead us to a deserted backyard. The fanous graffity art looked quite pink in that odd light. Yes, a location with potential but that small with nobody there? Leica Q
  4. We had a week there in Wroclaw (Breslau) and the weather was wet and cold even it meant tobe spring. But there is a special charmes of colour when the streets are wet and shining in the lights. The view is on the Rynek, the central place seen from a bylane. Leica Q, handheld
  5. Seen in Breslau/ Wroclaw, Olympus EM5 with Nocticron 43 mm/1.2
  6. These dwarves are a symbol of people causing a revolution by the independant thoughts and actions of every individual. You find them anywhere in the city. But you have to keep your eyes open, because they are small, dark bronze nd more or less hidden. They are a gift of the citizens to their city. Here are a few samples out of hundreds
  7. Church towers are best to get a panroamic view on the cities. Here we climbed the tower of the church adjacent to the cathedral. The churches all over are constructed with brick stones and are with their gothic style quite dark and gloomy. We could were not very much enthusiastic about them but it is worthwhile yet to climb the towers where possible. Unfortunately the sight was very limited because we had this rainy weather with humid grey sky. The Leica Q did an impeccable job and could even get the dark stones as well as the sky without any significant losses.
  8. Last week we spent 5 days in the city of Wroclaw (formerly the German city of Breslau) in Poland. Half of the time it rained, the other half it did not rain but the sky was overcast. The city is very interesting in terms of architecture. The historic centre is determined by the river Oder. The well rerstaurated historic buildings are corresponding with the new architecture very well, bound to harmony and integrative places. I have never seen a city where this relation is so well planned. Breslau is the cultural capital of europe 2016. We did shoot with lightweight gear. Here the Leica Q could show its capacity in dark churches and at night handheld with high ISO rates. We carried a tripod all the time and used it, of course. Enjoy the pictures! Breslau, Rynek. This is one side of the main market place. The historic building of the municipality is round the corer and not in the picture. Here the well restaurated buildings are a delightful sight and an invitiation to linger and relax.
  9. The university of Breslau is a large building at the Oder river and so also a frame of the historic center. A visit is worthwhile from inside. The architecture of the staircase and halls are magnificent. Even if the pantings are not of the best artistic class it makes an impressive sight. All Leica Q handheld
  10. Breslau (Wroclaw) - Poland - Japanese Garden, Leica Q
  11. Breslau, (Wroclaw) - Poland After dinner we went out again into the rain, armed with plastic covers, tripods and prepared to face cold and wet and windy atrocities. This Bridge is famous and with its strange blue colour makes a good effect at any time
