  1. Those M3s look like they are going on a Christmas Tree. Ultra rare promotional photo of ELCAN, Midland (ON) from 1955.
  2. The magical atmosphere of a Tuscan sunrise, taken during a Workshop I led in Tuscany in November 2017. Leica SL, Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  3. Stormy weather at Playa Ballota, in Asturias (Spain), one of my favourite locations along this incredible coast. An older image, 60 seconds of long exposure taken with Leica S (007), Leica Summarit-S 35mm f/2.5 and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  4. A view from the top of the Piccolo Lagazuoi, on the Dolomites, on a cloudy evening Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  5. Sunrise at Reynisfjara Beach, in Iceland. Despite the crowds, if you know when and where to go you can still have the place all for yourself, which is really exciting Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  6. Land's End, in Cornwall, is a truly magical place. Once you get past the (terrible!) amusement park-like thing close to the parking lot and start wandering along the cliffs, you realise that west of you there is nothing but ocean until the American continent's shores. Enys Dodnan Arch looks and feels like a door open towards the New World. Leica SL, Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16-35mm and the great Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  7. It takes wading in the ocean, water nearly chest high, to get to the Arch at Playa de Campiecho with high enough tide for the cave to be filled with water. Once you get there, however, the feeling and the view are simply amazing! Taken at sunset during the Workshop I led in Atlantic Spain in 2017 with Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  8. This is again the famous church of San Giovanni in Ranui at sunset, on the Dolomites (Italy). This is a one-minute long exposure and this time, after posting the B&W version a few days ago, I present it to you in colour. With Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and the incredible Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  9. At Playa de Mexota, Asturias (Spain), you'll find yourself facing a sail-shaped sea stack towering in the Atlantic ocean. After climbing on the rocks facing the stack and finding a composition, it was just a matter of waiting for the sunset... This is a 36 seconds exposures, with the help of Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm Super Wide-Heliar and my beloved Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  10. When you arrive to the tiny church of San Giovanni in Ranui, on the Dolomites (Italy), you are faced with one of these classic views that have been photographed to death but which timeless beauty is just undeniable. On a beautiful May sunset, I forewent the sunset colours and portrayed it in a dramatic black & white, with the help of an amazing sky and of a 2-minutes long exposure. With Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and the incredible Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  11. Urro del Manzano at Sunset, in Cantabria (Spain). This is a 60 second long exposure taken with Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  12. A spectacular sunrise from Playa Ballota, in Asturias (Spain), one of my favourite locations on this amazing coast. The northern coast of Spain is truly beautiful and relatively undiscovered: I can’t wait to go back there next September for one more week of great photography, friendship and fun! Leica S (Typ 007), Leica Summarit-S 35mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  13. Misty sunrise at Podere Belvedere, taken in Tuscany (Italy) during a Workshop I led there in April 2017. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm, filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  14. The imposing Castel Boccale, a castle hanging on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Mediterranean on the shores of Tuscany, in Italy. A 75 second long exposure taken with Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm Super Wide-Heliar and my trusted Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters during a Workshop One-on-One in led in Tuscany. I can't wait to be back there in April! Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  15. A serene and spectacular sunrise at Poggio Covili, created during a Workshop One-on-One I led in Tuscany (Italy) in November 2017. Leica SL, Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280 and the wonderful Formatt Hitech Filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  16. Frozen Falls, taken one year ago at Kirjufellsfoss during a Workshop One-on-One I led in Iceland. Leica M10, Voigtlander 10mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  17. Bat's Head, taken at sunset last February during a Workshop I led in Dorset, UK. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  18. Next week I'll be again working in Dorset, and this image (taken there during a Workshop One-on-One last December) came to my mind. This is the famous Durdle Door, but the sky that evening inspired me to go for a very long exposure, 200 seconds for a very dramatic B&W. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm Super-Wide-Heliar and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  19. Last light at Kimmeridge Bay, in Dorset. I truly love exploring and photographing the ledges at Kimmeridge for detail work, they are so inspiring and I find them always rewarding, with almost any light. I took this photograph during a Workshop One-on-One in Dorset I led in October 2017. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  20. A couple of days ago, during the Workshop I am leading here in Asturias, we were talking about Tuscany and its amazing landscapes: I immediately started thinking about the beauty of this land in the fall, and realised once more that I can't wait to be back there very soon! This is Val d'Orcia, photographed during a Workshop I led there in November 2017. Leica SL, Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  21. One of Dorset's most spectacular bays is Seacombe Bay, here portrayed at sunset. It takes a very pleasant 30 min downhill walk to get there, and the place is so amazing that it makes the walk back, all uphill, a breeze! Leica S (Typ 007), Leica Summarit-S 35mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  22. Iceland's basaltic rocks, shaped by the power of the weather, feature incredible shapes: this is Gatklettur under the storm, a black & white image created in Iceland during a Workshop I led there in February 2018. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  23. The Crumbling Cliffs at Valahnukamol in Iceland are a wonderful source of inspiration, and I love to explore them to find cracks with shapes complementing or mirroring the sea stacks and the clouds. Taken at sunset during a Workshop One-on-One in Iceland in February 2018 with my Leica SL, a Voigtlander 15mm and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  24. One magic morning in Dorset (UK), working on the silhouette of Corfe Castle, with the sunrise light scattered by the mist. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm @ 27mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  25. Sunrise above Stair Hole and Lulworth Cove, in Dorset (UK). It takes a short climb in boggy grounds to get above Stair Hole, but witnessing the sun rising and the landscape revealing itself from the darkness from up there is pure magic. Seeing the smile and the excitement on my Workshop's participants' faces when the sun appeared made the climb 100% worth! Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
