  1. Does anyone know of a way to connect the Q2 to a laptop via wifi? It seems like a big oversight not to be able to transfer photos from my Q2 to my phone but not my machine. I work in Lightroom for post and would love to save time and steps. Thanks all in advance.
  2. Have connected the camera to my iPhone through the Leica Fotos app. and successfully uploaded some images. Lately, however, the two devices connect, but I am unable to view images in the Fotos app or upload images. Any thoughts/suggestions?
  4. I recently jumped off the Fuji bandwagon and over to the Q. Working my way through the camera and loving it so far. Regarding the WiFi connection/Leica App....I've been able to connect and control the camera, switched over to 'Backup" mode and it worked like a charm. My question is: Is there a way to transfer only select images from the Q to my iPhone after I shoot? I don't want every shot to jump to my phone which is how 'Backup' seems to work. When I had my XT2 I was able to simple transfer JPEGS from the camera to my phone, do minor editing and post. Thanks!
  5. Hello, first off, just got my first Leica, an M10 the other day and am a new forum member. I look forward to being a member of this group. I am trying to set up the wifi on the camera. My camera finds tons of neighborhood wifis but not my home wife. Is that normal? I was, however, able to connect my iPhone to the camera). My network is a WEP network not a WPA. However, none of my other wireless devices (Google home, soundbar, etc) have any trouble finding or connecting to it. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks in advance for the help.
  6. I can connect my M10 to a WiFi network, but I can't see any pictures from my camera in Lightroom's import window. The camera appears in the side panel, but there are no images. I have tried formatting the SD card, and I have tried on several WiFi networks. I have also connected my Mac to the camera's own WLAN, but nothing helps. Anyone who can help with this? It is not a big deal to put the SD card in the Mac to transfer the files (and probably much faster with many pictures), but at least it would be nice to try out this feature.
  7. Hello fellow forum member, Is there a way to download photos from Leica T to Mac via Wifi? You can download photos to your iPhone or iPad with the Leica T App. But I would like to download photos to my MacBook Pro via Wifi. Is there an App for this? Is one being devoloped? I use a Strap, the Snap and the Flap. That makes the getting the card out a bit time consuming. And I want to reduce the times I have to detach my lens. Now I have to detach the lens, the Strap, Snap and Flap if I want to get the SDcard out. Same for changing the battery. Thanks, Jarr
  8. I'm new to the Q. My experiences so far have been positive, but I'm confounded by the wifi image transfer behavior. It seems that there are two modes: Remote Control Backup Great, this makes sense and mirrors what I expect: one mode is tethered control over a remote camera, the other lets you just download photos from it. Every similar thing I've seen allows selection of photos from the existing roll in "Backup" or equivalent mode, for example using the app to pick and choose which already-shot photos to transfer to the phone. The Leica app, meanwhile, only seems capable of transferring shots taken while the camera is actively connected to the app in backup mode. Is this true? This is a bizarre limitation, and doesn't fit what I assume to be the common model of shooting un-tethered, then periodically squirting a few shots over to the phone to tweak or share while on the go. Pointers to an obvious setting I'm missing—or confirmation that I'm not crazy—welcome. Thanks!
  9. I'm trying to connect my Leica Q to my Sony Xperia Z5 compact E5823 phone with the Leica Q WiFi App, I have successfully managed to link an IPhone 6 and several different Android (6.0.1) phones but despite using the same parameters I've not been able to connect the Sony phone. Has anybody been able to connect a a Sony Xperia to the Leica Q or got any suggestions - I'm using the following Sony Xperia Z5 compact E5823 OS Android version 6.0.1 Leica Q App Leica Q Firmware version 2.0
  10. I have problems using Lecia SL App wifi with my iPhone 6s usingcurrent iOS version. No problems with Android Anyone else with same problem?
Dankeschön mal an alle Wissenden!
  12. Well I am a new owner, lovely camera and lenses, just loving the colour renditions and ease of setup and handling, a revelation almost a revolution in ease of use and control. The one fly in the ointment is the WiFi, and the useless T-App (without the WiFi connection, the application will not work) - yes I can use the USB cable or remove the SD card to move the images to my Mac. However with WiFi, It refuses to connect to my iPhone. It refuses to connect to my Mac. It refuses to connect with my Mobile Hotspot. The whole camera freezes with a bottom half of the screen purple. The only way to unlock the camera and take pictures or move them, is to remove the battery, I would rather not have the WiFi option and shall ignore completely this option, so a little disappointed at this, but I have the two other options, USB and SD removal. This should not happen on any expensive camera. Having said that all is not lost because I never successfully connected a Sony A7RII to WiFi either! So if I was Mr Leica, I would either fix the T-App or quietly drop it.
