The L on the roof On a roof terrazzo in south Spain. i never saw the potential of the roof all the years before. But this year I got some ideas on how to use it better. sometimes it takes a long time to get to the result. This is still work in progress. Will keep on posting to this subject.

It takes wading in the ocean, water nearly chest high, to get to the Arch at Playa de Campiecho with high enough tide for the cave to be filled with water. Once you get there, however, the feeling and the view are simply amazing! Taken at sunset during the Workshop I led in Atlantic Spain in 2017 with Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri

At Playa de Mexota, Asturias (Spain), you'll find yourself facing a sail-shaped sea stack towering in the Atlantic ocean. After climbing on the rocks facing the stack and finding a composition, it was just a matter of waiting for the sunset... This is a 36 seconds exposures, with the help of Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm Super Wide-Heliar and my beloved Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri

It takes wading in the ocean, water chest high, to get to the Arch at Playa de Campiecho with high enough tide for the cave to be filled with water, and then some more wading into the cave to get the photograph: but the feeling and the view from in there are simply amazing! Taken at sunset during the Workshop I led in Asturias last year with Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri

"El Picon", the Pickaxe, is one of Asturias most recognisable features. Photograph taken at sunrise during the Workshop I led in Spain last fall. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Can't wait to be back there! Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri

Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri

I took this on a trip to Barcelona in November 2015, but I have just worked on it to get a look I am happy with so that I could submit it to a National Geographic project entitled 'Quiet Moment'. I used a Leica M9 with 35mm Leica Summarit f2.5 lens and shot at 400iso. Gerry

"Portizuelo's Devil", in Asturias (Spain). You need to do some acrobatics to get to Portizuelo when the tide is high, blocking access to the beach; however, the landscape there is definitely worth the shower. Leica S (007), Leica Summarit-S 70mm, Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri

After the vertical one taken with the Leica SL I posted a while ago, one more Sunrise at Playa de Gueirua in the Asturias (Spain), this time in landscape format and with a slightly longer lens (28mm FOV instead of 15mm). Playa de Gueirua is really amazing with the right sky and definitely worth the descent (and ascent back up!). This time is Leica S (Typ 007) and Leica Summarit-S 35mm. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
