  4. From the album: Two Days in Washington DC

These gorgeous hydrangeas are grown in the outdoor eating area in front of Agua301, a modern Mexican restaurant situated on the SE DC Waterfront. My wife loves hydrangeas and I thought this would be an awesome picture to take for her!

  5. Hong kong, october 2016 Kowloon, Tok Wa Wan, In the quarter where our hotel was, people go shopping for their household utensils. for us it was interesting to see where normalChinese poeple work and live. During those rainy days of a typhoon of category 3 one cold step outside and get some attractive light situations.
  6. Hong Kong, Ocean Park This lady enjoyed the shooting. Olympus EM 5 MKII with Nocticron.
  7. I was being busy with 2 cameras, one on a tripod, the Q being ready for anything else. People were bustling with selfysticks, toothpaste smiling and posing, the crowd was a permanent menace to my tripod. Keeping an eye on the crowd there was here and there also a picture for me....
  8. our garden is showing some beautiful roses and there are still buds and we will enjoy every single one. Olympus EM5 MKII with Nocticron
  9. Just a fashion trend in pink and yellow in a silky dress Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron
  10. In summer the sun is vanishing late even in our garden facing the north. The sun is high enough to give our garden a warm glow.even in the evening. Leica Q
  11. The rhododendron bushes are in full colour rush, each one has its own special time and character. I spent a day trying out different Elmarit R lenses on Canon 5D MKII. Elmarit R 90 mm
  12. Here is another from my recent trip to Patagoina. It was shot with my M240 and 21 SEM. It is three frames with stacked focus. Enjoy! Patagonia #2 by Jeffrey Michael Parsons, on Flickr
  13. this is also from my series of Botanical Garden where one can get light in some corners after 6 p.m. Olympus OMD EM 5 with Elmarit R 90 mm
  14. yesterday it rained an when I reached at my friend who keeps a delightful square of small garden, it stopped and I could try to find a few frames where as I had to be careful not to step on anything because only a few stone steps are free to step on. One bee even started during this evening time to get some honey. Olympus EM5 with Nocticron
  15. our garden is my daily pleasure and field of experimentation. Here my favourite lens for the time being: R Summicron 50 mm with an achromat lens on 5DMKII
  16. these days are really hot and so one can easily make a trip downstairs to our garden . Here are 2 captures with Olympus EM5 and Leica/Panasonic Nocticron42.5/ 1.2 Asph.
  17. a delitghful rose in our garden on a warm summer day 2 days ago. I am using more now my Summicron R 50 mm on my Canon 5D MKII. The Summicron can produce this romantic look. Here are the first samples. Here I used an achromat lens Elpro as well. Thanks for viewing.
  18. this little lower I discovered in a bylane where people have nice gardens and foregardens. This lower did unfold its beauty simply down at the pavement at the fence. If the blossom at the right side is disturbing one can remove it easily. Let me know. Olympus OMD EM5 with Elmarit & 60 mm macro
  19. our gardens has also something to offer these days. And if trying out a new combo there is some advantage if you do not need to haul everything along. Here I tried my Olympus OMD EM5 with the R Elmarit 60 mm macro + APO 2x converter. No tripod, windy weather and lots of bad focussed pictures. I had to grapple with a rather shallow DOF but the Elmarit is a pleasure to handle.
  20. again: every day our Botanical Garden has something different to show. Tulips are smashed after rain. But now all types of azaleas are in full swing. Canon 5D MKII Elmarit R 180 mm Olympus OMD EM5 Elmarit R 60 mm macro Canon 5D MKII Elmarit R 180 mm
  21. this was just a snappy and I could focus my manual lens in the last moment. I was busy in our botanical garden when I saw the "crew" coming" being in a hurry because of rain. Olympus EM 5 with Elmarit R 60 mm macro
  22. This is also from the weekend, that calm rainy day in our Botanical Garden. It was drizzling and a faint thunder runmbling could be heard. Looking for some inspiration I found this single tulip. Canon 5D MKII on tripod, Olympus OMD EM5 handheld Olympus OMD EM5 with Elmarit R 60 mm macro Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 180 mm
  23. this is a 1 km long street in my hometown. It is unique in our region if not in Germany. Every year it is an attraction not only for insiders. It is very difficult to capture this pink paradise because you have always a backdrop of plain more or less dull houses. All shots had to be handheld since twigs with those bunches of blossoms were bobbing nicely in a warm summerlike breeze. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 180 mm
