  2. There was a slight break in the many days of rain we have here in England, and I managed a short venture to the Christmas street market. This was taken with the Leica M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5, and then post-processed in LR and SFX2. I hope you like it! Gerry

    The Ferry Trip

This is from my trip to the US in 2001 and was taken on the Ellis Island Ferry using the Leica M6 and TX400CN. I thought long and hard about posting this image, and finally came to the conclusion that less able-bodied people are a part of our society and hopefully this image shows a caring relationship and inclusion in the world. Gerry
  4. These two were taken on a trip to Barcelona in November to work alongside by good friend, and fine Barcelona street shooter, Lluis Ripoll. I used the M9 and the Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 for both, and b&w conversion was in LRCC. Gerry
  5. I took this pleading dog in Ghent, Belgium, using the M9 and 35mm Summarit f2.5. Hope you like it.
  6. Just at the point where I was getting tired of the rain I spotted this family trudging through the streets of Brugge, and captured with the M9 and 35mm Summarit f2.5. I hope you like it. Gerry
  7. I am scanning some T-Max400CN taken back in the year 2000 using my M6, and I am working through some work I did in Paris that year. I am pretty sure this was taken with the 50mm Summicron f2. I hope you like it. Gerry

I have written a short blog piece about a recent shoot at Wilton Sheep Sales near Salisbury in England. It features a number of black and white images taken there on the M9 and can be viewed at: http://wp.me/pT0pm-mI Hope you enjoy looking! Gerry

    Is It Love?

A judge at the Wilton sheep sales looks into the face of a sheep in Wiltshire, England. Taken with an M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 lens.
  10. I took this in 2002 in Notre Dame cathedral using available light with the M6 and T-Max400CN, but have only just got round to scanning it. I hope you like it! Gerry
  11. This was just a lucky capture whilst planning to photograph just the building - sometimes luck is on your side. Taken in Paris in 2002 using an M6 with 50mm Summicron f2 and T400CN film.
  12. Taken in the market at Place du Vieux Marché, Rouen, France using the M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5
  13. Taken with the Leica M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 lens in Rouen, France Gerry
  14. Taken in Rouen, France using the M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5
  15. This was taken with the M9 and Zeiss 50mm Sonnar f1.5 in the market in Rouen. Somehow it just doesn't work the same in colour. I hope you like it. Gerry
  16. This was taken in 2002 using an M6 and Kodak 400CN. I have recently scanned it and processed in LR and Dfine. I have no idea what the lens settings were but the lens was probably my Summicron 50mm f2. Gerry
  17. Indian woman shopping at a street market whilst a young girl looks on (Southampton, England). This is my first post here so I hope everything is OK.
  18. Old type trays stacked looking for purchasers in a Paris street market.
  19. I took the chance to listen to some great 'Django' style jazz outside a jazz bar whilst walking around Ghent in Belgium last weekend, and captured this great guitarist performing as part of a quartet. The image was shot on an M9 using the 35mm Summarit, and then converted to b&w using Lightroom CC. I hope you like it! Gerry
  20. This is the final upload before I head off for a weeks shooting in Belgium with my daughter and family. Taken with the M6 in the year 2000, and scanned from T-Max 400CN. I hope you like it!
  21. Taken in the shopping mall at West Quay, Southampton whilst testing the M7 and Fuji Neopan 400CN film. Gerry
  22. 'Alices Adventures in Wonderland' based on the wonderful children's books by Lewis Carroll (Taken in Southampton, England), this was taken on a Leica M7 with 35mm Summarit lens. Film was Fuji Neopan 400CN commercially processed and scanned using Silverfast. Gerry

  25. The following three images are from a film I shot in 2002 using the Leica M6 and 50mm Summicron (I think!) at a street festival in Emsworth, England. I hope you like at least one of them! Gerry
