Hey , just checking with the q3 and the profiles with the connectivity (Bluetooth) …. and I could not generate a profile that activates / deactivates Bluetooth. is this the correct behavior? I would love if this is changed with the next firmware update? what do you think? cheers Peter

Es ist wieder soweit! Wir treffen uns wieder in Karlsruhe zu Gesprächen rund um die Fotografie. Der neue Termin wird der 14.03.2024 um 19 Uhr sein. My video is based on a Zoom talk which I gave to the Photographic Collectors Club of Great Britain last Sunday. This was a development of an article of mine which had appeared earlier in the magazine of The Leica Society (UK). This traces the fact that the very first Leicas with interchangeable lenses were conversions done in Britain in the late 1920s, even before Leitz/Leica offered the same features on Leicas made in Wetzlar. These used Meyer (German) and Ross and Dallmeyer (both British) lenses. Some of the features of the British conversions were subsequently used by Leitz/Leica. Leica then adopted the wider LTM M39 mount and the British Manufacturers adapted to this with their later production. Some of the images from my talk are below William

Hi, is there a case for the camera (halfcase) , that I can use with the HG-DC1 grip together? my search only points to the case with integrated grip …. has anybody found such thing ? cheers Peter

Hey, can we agree that it would be very helpful if the sl2-s could connect with the usb-c cable to Leica fotos app? remote shooting and transfer would be well received , wouldn’t it? I would love to see this in the next firmware update. I just played around with the q3 and with this camera it works. it would also help so much for video production …. cheers Peter

Hi, I have purchased a new lens Elmarit M 28mm it is on the way.Till now I had only 50mm Summicron which I use on my M6 Classic. I need advices about what focus distance you set for zone focusing. This is the chart, I mainly will need 1.5 - infinity or to 17 m.From the chart I thing when I’m on f/8 3mm focus gives me best focus space.What you preset on f/5.6 f/4 f/2.8? At what distance usually your subjects are, I’m talking about street photography and film only!
