With just T lenses in mind, what is your preferred focusing method and why? Always Manual? Always Automatic? Depends. Your preferred Automatic method? Which method do you NOT use and why?

I'm looking for a small, fitted, sophisticated, high-quality bag that will hold my iPad, iPhone, Leica T with the 18 - 56, and a few small personal items. I occasionally like to go analog with the Leica M3 and a single lens, so it would be nice if the bag could hold the M3 in place of the T. I regularly travel internationally for work, which means that much of my time abroad is spent in a suit/sport coat. My current arsenal includes bags from Billingham, ONA, and Fogg. However, given the formality of my dress, I'm looking for something a bit more professional that could pass as a small brief. The Leica Q Day Bag looks like a great option: https://us.leica-camera.com/Photography/Leica-Q/Accessories/Q-Camera-accessories/Day-Bag Has anyone tried to fit the Leica T or M inside this bag? If so, what was your experience? Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Hello everyone, Since Adobe or Leica haven't able to provide with profiles inside Lightroom for Leica T as other models, has anyone been successful to reproduce the black and white high contrast on the DNG files? I have try with the black and white conversion in Lightroom, software such as Silver Efex Pro 2, Alien Skin, Topaz, etc., but the feeling/look is not the same from the jpg file. Thank you, Francisco

Anyone knows if in the near future is a firmware update for the T fixing some of the bugs including the app that overrides the DNG+JPG on the memory/internal memory in the camera when using the iPhone/iPad?

I'm an M9 user and very happy with the results from all my trips over the past 2.5 years. I have a wide set of leica glass so a considerable amount invested. My M9-P is functioning OK and I will continue to use it as my main camera. However, on every trip there are times that I simply don't have enough time or adequate steadiness to capture scenes so I'm now considering a second camera with autofocus and some IS. I doubt I'll be happy with a plastic camera, so I'm considering a T with one of the zooms plus an adaptor for my M lenses. It's fits the bill since it is light and it will have an external viewfinder which is essential. Will I be disappointed when I see images in Lightroom beside my M9 files? I've got three days to make up my mind but I have no access to a T. Opinions sought!

Hi! I'm new in this forum and new to leica cameras. I just bought a Leica T and two Leica lenses (the 35mm summilux 1.4 ASPH FLE & the 75mm APO Summicron-M 2 ASPH) with an M adapter. Problem: The Leica T does not show what aperture I chose on the lens when shooting. Neither does Lightroom. The readout on the screen says: F0.0 regardless of which aperture I choose. The lenses are 6 bit coded. Is it supposed to be like this? I guess it's ok while shooting, but it would be nice if the EXIF contained what aperture I have used. B :-)

Walking around the Ankara castle, there's a cat that likes to climb onto people's backs. Last time I was in the area, in January, it climbed into the hood of my parka. Yesterday, when my nephew and I were walking around, we went to greet the cat and it promptly climbed onto Jasper's back. Snap taken with my Leica T, 55-35 Vario-Elmar-T lens. Lightly processed in Lightroom. Cheers, Santiago

Does anybody used Nissin i40 Flash with Leica T? I'm wandering what Flash I should buy for my Leica T. Leica SF 26 is badly expensive, SF 40 looks better for parameters and price. Any suggestions?
