So annoyed at Adobe trying to force me into CC versions. I have standalone LR version from Leica license, but when I try to update, I am forced into CC, I cannot find a standalone update. I hate the way Adobe treats me! Any guidance? -
Hi guys, I get my first Leica this wk - an SL with 24-90. With the move to full frame, I have decided to make more use of post processing. My previous kit was all Fuji so aside from some playing with Aperture, I used to adjust RAW files in-camera. Anyway, one question pls: as Leica now only gives out a 3 month trial of LR, should I use that or should I just buy a standalone perpetual version. If I assume that I am not going to replace my camera anytime soon (!) then why would I need future updated version of software? Thanks John

This morning I was happily using Lightroom 6 and then closed it while I did other things. Now, when I try to open it, it doesn't do so. It gets as far as the start-up screen and 'golden trees' image and then freezes - 'not responding' appears at the top and in Task Manager. I've checked the Adobe product forums but there's no clue. Any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good colour calibration profile or preset, for LR, for the M9 with the new-type sensor? Colour is indeed more of a matter of taste, but I think a generally-speaking "neutral" or "faithful" colour reproduction might perhaps be a good starting point for work from? Thanks a lot! Best, Rus
