one of my favorite cities to be is Hamburg- a lot of friends are living there and having a weekend to spend there with a good friend- going to an open air concert (Elbjazz) might be a very good idea- if the weather is fine.... After weeks of sunshine and fine weather in northern germany THIS weekend the weather made an exception.... starting with > 30°C a thunderstorm stopped the concert for more than two hours. But who cares ? Leica SL is WR and we had a great time Some pictures... Dry... #1

I took this portrait of English jazz pianist Julian Joseph in 2016 using my M9 and Zeiss 50mm f1.5 lens @ 1250iso. Shutter was 1/125 and aperture f5.7. It was shot as .dng for use by the theatre, and I have only just converted it to mono using LRCC. Lighting was stage lighting (i.e. no flash). Hope you like it! Gerry

Visiting Prague means a great variety of cultural input. You can spend every night there in jazzclub, blues bar, etc. Usually you get to hear high quality stuff. We were lucky and enjoyed a night listening to a piano trio. The acoustics down in that cellar from a building of the middle ages were breathtaking. Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron the pianist
