  1. Here are a series picture taken this summer in East Greenland and Iceland Snæfellsjökull; SL2-S Sigma 150-600mm Strokkur S007; 30-90mm
  2. Sunrise at Reynisfjara Beach, in Iceland. Despite the crowds, if you know when and where to go you can still have the place all for yourself, which is really exciting Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  3. Frozen Falls, taken one year ago at Kirjufellsfoss during a Workshop One-on-One I led in Iceland. Leica M10, Voigtlander 10mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  4. Sunset at Vestrahorn, in Iceland, a location offering much more than the famous mountain’s silhouette to those willing to explore it. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for watching, best regards Vieri .
  5. Being away from home for 1.5 months now, leading Workshops non-stop since September! Today we were talking with the guys about Iceland's cold vs Scotland's cold, and this image came to mind. Jokulsarlon at sunset, taken in December 2017 with Leica SL, Leica Super-Elmar-M 21mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  6. Iceland's basaltic rocks, shaped by the power of the weather, feature incredible shapes: this is Gatklettur under the storm, a black & white image created in Iceland during a Workshop I led there in February 2018. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  7. From the album: First pictures

Iceland black church at Budir, Leica m10+ Zeiss 35 f2+ magic Aurora borealis
  8. The Crumbling Cliffs at Valahnukamol in Iceland are a wonderful source of inspiration, and I love to explore them to find cracks with shapes complementing or mirroring the sea stacks and the clouds. Taken at sunset during a Workshop One-on-One in Iceland in February 2018 with my Leica SL, a Voigtlander 15mm and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  9. Iceland in winter is amazing, looking for ice and snow patterns on the black sand at Reynisdrangar is extremely inspiring and makes enduring the cold definitely worth it. We had a great time during my Workshop there last February! Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm @ 24mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  10. Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous and photographed waterfalls in Iceland, most known for being photographed from behind the water. Since I like to go to Iceland in winter, both for my Workshops and for my personal work, that is never possible: the access to the waterfall's back is closed due to the snow. This, however, opens up new creative possibilities to portray this amazing waterfall surrounded by icicles and looking like it's digging in the snow. Black & white, for me, was the obvious choice for this. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  11. A bleak and beautiful winter sunset at Reynisdrangar, taken during a Workshop I led in Iceland last February. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  12. Iceland is so amazing, landscapes and geology are unforgettable, but what makes all the difference is the light - it's just spectacular, and unlike any other light I have ever worked with. This is Reynisfjara Beach at sunrise, taken during a Workshop I led in Iceland last February. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  13. Reynisfjara's iconic sea stacks at Sunrise, taken in Iceland during a Workshop I led there in February. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  14. Vestrahorn at dusk, a long exposure taken just before one of my Workshops One-on-One in Iceland last February. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm v. III and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  15. Dreamy sunset at the amazing Diamond Beach at Jokulsarlon, in Iceland, taken during a Workshop I led there last December. Leica SL, Leica Super-Elmar-M 21mm f/3.4 and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  16. Today, something from Iceland: The Arch at Gatklettur, here portrayed at sunrise during one of the Workshops I led in Iceland last December is one of the lesser known - but not less amazing - beautiful landscapes of Iceland. With the Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  17. The glacial lagoon at Jokulsarlon, Iceland, taken during the first Workshop I led in Iceland, last December. Leica M10, Voigtlander 15mm v. III and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri

  19. My recent blog post and summarized feedback on the Leica S007 after using it for over a year, including my recent trip to Iceland with behind the scene photos.
