I’ve got some dust on my sensor, and I’ve already tried with the VSGO Sensor Cleaning Swab (dry), but there are still some spots on the sensor. I’ve read somewhere that it’s possible to apply cleaning fluid - alcohol? - on the swabs to get rid of tougher spots on the M10-sensor. I’m living in the Faroe Islands some 1,300 kilometers from the european continent. Therefore I can’t just go to the local photo dealer or Leica store - because there isn’t any near. I have to order ‘something’ from some dealer in Europe and get it sent to me - hence my doubt and questions about best practice M10-sensor cleaning. - Could I apply ’some kind’ of fluid to the swabs to clean the sensor? - What is your best practice tip how to clean the sensor? Really hoping for some constructive answers on this thread since I’m 1,300 kilometers from help and have to fix this myself. And also order the required cleaning items on the web. Thanks in advance.

The thin alu-piece, that is on top of the hot-shoe (not the hot-shoe-cover) fell off my camera yesterday, so the top plate of the hot-shoe is “naked" (see the attached picture). I don’t know why the alu-piece did fell off, since the only thing that has been sitting on/in the hot shoe is my Leica-flash and Visoflex-viewfinder. What function does that small alu-piece have? What would you do?

I find it a bit difficult to nail the focus when using the APO 50mm on my M10. Even on a tripod with the shutter speed on 1/125, the f-stop at 5.6 and the portrayed person 3-4 meters from the camera it seems hard to nail the focus, even though i'm 100% the object is dead on focus in my viewfinder. The problem occours both with the built in optical viewfinder and also with the electronical Visoflex viewfinder. I thought the days with back focusing problems were gone, but can it be the combination is "suffering" from back focus? Could it be some other misalignment? Or could the combination just be badly calibrated?
