  1. Last light at Kimmeridge Bay, in Dorset. I truly love exploring and photographing the ledges at Kimmeridge for detail work, they are so inspiring and I find them always rewarding, with almost any light. I took this photograph during a Workshop One-on-One in Dorset I led in October 2017. Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  2. From the album: Fine Art

In Düsseldorf, Paul-Klee-Platz, hinter K20 Kunstsammlung NRW.

  3. The amazing Durdle Door at sunset, taken during a Workshop I led in Dorset (UK) last February. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  4. Amazing Playa de Aguilar at sunrise, taken while exploring new locations right after my Workshop in Asturias and the Atlantic (Spain) last September. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri
  5. Sunrise view of Sgurr nan Gillean, taken during one of the Workshops I led on the Isle of Skye last spring. Leica S (007), Leica Summarit-S 35mm and Formatt-HItech Firecrest filters. Can't wait to be back on Skye next month! Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  6. Loch Fada and the Old Man of Storr at sunrise, taken on an exceptionally still morning during one of the Workshops I led on the Isle of Skye in Scotland last spring. Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards Vieri
  7. Hong Kong, october 2016 Exchange Square during the heavy rain of a typhoon of category 3. The streets were deserted then because everybody wanted to be under shelter. These situations offer a great chance of light and reflections. The camera behaved absolutely reliable. The sculpture is from Henry Moore. Even my city has one copy and so I felt at home.... Leica Q
  8. These rocks are an attraction because of their atmosphere. They are a relict of the ice age and people come here for enjoying, meditation etc. The light situation is most difficult because the light always comes from the "wrong" side. so one can try to capture a backlight situation. Here it is the last light of the sinking sun beore it settles down behind a hill. Sky and water are always too bright, so I used 2 ND grad filters plus a polarizer and 6 shots for the panorama. It is an 16 MB file and I am afraid this compression does not at all show the fine IQ of the Q Leica Q
  9. From the album: RLW 1

  10. The morning light in winter can be very nice. This place is showing the architecture of our local main hospital which is on the way to my office. I go there often and here I wnted to find ho well the Leica Q can cover the whole range of light here. Very little in pp only a slight boost of the shadows was necessary. Leica Q
  11. This sunny and cool october day was dedicated to discover autumnal impression in my city of Bielefeld. We have many parks and one of them belongs to our art museum (architect Philipp Johnson). This park has a pond, old trees and scultptures. Olympues EM 5 with Summilux 15 mm and infrared filter
  12. this is the pond of a reconstructed village of the Demold Open-Air museum which is open on the second weekend of december on the occasion of an advent market. The whole village is being illuminated and here you can see the result of the struggle against disturbing willows this is a vertical pano of 2 pictures with Canon 5D MKII and Elmarit R 90 mm
  13. Today I got my first Leica rangefinder (an M4 in a very good condition) but I stumbled upon 2 issues Loading Film I followed the manual instructions and everything seemed to be fine until I discovered that the film was not advancing (at frame 40+): what did I do wrong? Bright Framelines In some angles in the 35/135 lines framelines mode I see (sometimes) one of the 50mm framelines reflection (just a thin line and only the bottom line): is this a normal reflection issue? thanks in advance for your feedback

    In a car park. M7, 35mm 'cron, HP5.
  15. This pond I pass every day on my walk to my office. The red color is the reflection of a part of a characteristic building of our city: the main hospital. Light was nice and a very thin fragile layer of ice was there. Very often if morning light is promising my Olympus EM5 joins me and more and more the Leica R lenses are becoming my favourites here. This time it was the 60 mm macro Elmarit.
