    Buying M9 on Amazon

Hello, i have recently found some cheap Leica cameras on Amazon. Since it looks ridiculously cheap I wonder if it is a scam or anyone have any experience with it. Thank you https://www.amazon.com/Leica-M9-Digital-Finder-Black/dp/B002NX13LC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489229259&sr=8-1&keywords=Leica+m9

Here's a photo from one of my 2013 trips to Istanbul. Crossing on the ferry over to Sultanahmet is one of my favorite things to do when I go visit. M9 40 'cron. —Santiago

    My Adidas

Wandering around Istanbul this past October, I snapped this pic off the cuff. Post-processed in Lightroom. Sorry about the strange crop, some guy walked into the frame as I was snapping the pic. In trying to crop him out, I also wanted to maintain the dimensions, but taking him out entirely would mean losing the woman's shoes or cutting off the head of the mural. M9 40mm 'cron

Here's a photo from a quick trip I took to Dublin in November to do a reading. On one of my free days, I took a walk around Dublin and spent some time wandering around Trinity College. M9. Summircron-C 40mm. Cropped and adjusted in Lightroom.

    Father and Son

Hello! It's been more than a year since I've posted! Did I miss anything? I'm currently living in Turkey, teaching on a Fulbright. I'm still taking photos though, my cameras here are my faithful M9 with 40mm Summicron-C lens (and occasionally a Voigtlander Nokton 50mm /1.1 —a hefty lens I should use more), my trusty D-Lux 6 (G-Star Raw Edition), and my iPhone 7 (to be honest, the iPhone 7 is my most used camera). I'm posting photos, every so often, on my website. Here is the link to the gallery of pics for my year away from New Mexico: http://vaqueravasquez.com/fotos/index.php?/category/24 Here's a photo of my nephew and his father one day last week when were walking around downtown Ankara. The Morris Men of Manchester

Morris dancing is a traditional folk dance from England and dates back hundreds of years. The dancers dance traditional jigs usually wearing bells and ribbons. It's thought the Morris comes from Moorish and they were imitating North Africa/Spanish dances. As you can see from the images, most of the dancers are older and it is thought that Morris dancing could die out. Though there has been a revival apparently with Neopagan Morris dancers and the 'Dark Morris' which comes from a Discworld novel! 19. Hello I have just taken ownership of an M9 and a Summicron 50mm f/2. I love the atmosphere and colour range of the first pictures but suspect that the sharpness of the focused area are below expectation for this wonderful lens. This is only noticeable at 100% crop. I find the outlines soft compared to examples I have found online and in print. I am aware of focus shift but just wanted to know how I should test if the lens is performing at optimum. I don't think I can share large images on this forum. Where should I look and who should I speak to? Any suggestions very welcome. Thanks William
